Maybe, but with everyone knowing when the preorders go live, it'll be worse.
They could, but why?
"You're neglecting all the people who can't afford that price "
If a $10 price difference per game has moved the needle in to "cannot afford" territory, you shouldn't be wasting money on games, and certainly not on a new $500 game console. If that person buys 6 games a year, that's an extra $60. Even at minimum wage, that's about 0.3% of what they make over the year. If they really need to keep buying games, buy one less game a year. Passio...
Yeah. Cracks me up seeing people "taking a stand" against inflation. Yeah, that'll work.
Nice. Mine shipped and will be delivered on Monday now instead of Tuesday. I did get to upgrade to collector's edition a few days ago, so I'm fine with it.
I'm glad gamestop works out for you. They can get imploded by a black hole for all I care. I've had a long history of bad experiences with them, but it was mostly retail. I decided to give online a shot last year. I had some Borderlands figures pre-ordered that weren't coming out until like Nov. In the mean time, I missed out on Cyberpunk CE on Amazon so I ordered it through GS not long after the Borderlands figures.
A couple weeks after all of that, I wa...
"And Mel going into battle at a later stage of her pregnancy (angry Joe as the best rant regarding that and he nails it right)"
And this was one of my issues with Joe's take on the game. Having Mel go out with the others isn't bad writing. it's writing a character who does something stupid. Characters need to be different and unique and sometimes they're there to fit a puzzle piece for a bigger story. Not everyone is going to make the right decisions. A...
"But I'd like to try" hit me way more than "I swear" did.
Ever hear of this pandemic thing going on? You should look in to it.
Yep. That's the main reason I started getting all my games from Amazon. Release day delivery. That, and Best Buy consistently fucking up or cancelling the order. I only had a problem with them once on South Park: TSoT. Friend who ordered it a few weeks before release was getting release day shipping but mine wasn't shipping until release when I ordered it as soon as it was available to. I tried talking to customer service and they kept saying it wasn't available in my area, ...
I had the special edition pre-ordered a LONG time ago and ever since the final release date update, it always showed it was going to be delivered on 7/21.
Why? We already have the box.
Yep. Dogs are awesome and all, but these fake dogs are trying to bite my face off. I'm going to defend myself and not get worked up over it.
Or don't want to spend time on last-gen games.
@Bathyj
There certainly was people in the comments talking about it being a launch title.
UE5 isn't out yet. The link you provided says they'll be using it, which doesn't mean it's being used currently.
Agreed. A pic of a controller for something that we know is coming out in a few months. "Oh, it's real. It isn't fake!" Eh? Did anyone actually think it wasn't a real thing?
@purple101
"Even on PS4 with the DualShock 4 rumble playing Nuremberg ring I can feel every undulation in the road."
The impulse triggers aren't for road feel. They work to let you know you're reaching the grip limit of your tires. I think just braking and acceleration though. I honestly don't notice it anymore, if it's even still used. I did a quick search and didn't see mention of it beyond FM5 that wasn't talking about PC.
55+ hours to fully complete.
They're going to sell out their supply for the year either way. There won't be more consoles to sell than what they can make.
