That's the thing, really. Great hardware is great and all, but if there isn't enough interesting games to support it, it's a waste. It seems like more developers really need to include VR functionality into more of their regular games to help it grow.
Yes, be proud of copy/paste Far Cry. Finding a way to make Watch Dogs Legion possibly the most boring game in recent memory and making another huge world Assassin's Creed game with large sections of it with absolutely nothing and a progress blocking bug near the end that's left unfixed for probably 6 months. So much to be proud of there.
They should add a lot more clothing options as well. Walk around the city and NPCs are wearing so much cool stuff we can't get. Supposedly one of the free DLC updates we were supposed to get was a Fashion Forward expansion. Guessing we won't get that now.
I looked at the description of what I ordered, and there’s no mention of DLC. I think all that was mentioned separately so they’re not on the hook for promising something to be included with the purchase and not delivered. That’s why they can get away with not including the expansion for PS4/XB1.
What an endless series of disappointments.
I can't keep their stuff straight anymore. I thought Edgerunners was their Netflix show, and now I see on their youtube channel, Edgerunners update (patch 1.6). Is this the 2nd update we've had all year?
"did I mention the god damn controller of the xbox still uses batteries?"
You want to back to the days of being wired?
And that's not even really a crash. It needs power to maintain it in standby so when power is lost, the game state is lost and you usually have to wait a little for a database rebuild.
The system startup may be acceptably quick, but you still need to load up the game too, right? FH5 isn't all that quick to load. With quick resume I'm probably going from shut down to back in game in like 10 seconds.
Same thing with the Destiny collector's edition. The box had smaller angles so weight would press outward and split the weak joints at the seams. Activision did nothing.
I would think it is. It's getting pretty late to be talking unrevealed games and still being cross-gen.
Yep. Coming up on 2 year and I've only bought 8 games for it so far, none PS5 exclusive. Far as I can tell, we only know of a handful of PS5 only games coming up.
Not to mention, it feels like games have been really disappointing the last couple of years. Cyberpunk, GT7, AC: Valhalla, Watch Dogs Legion, etc... I know most liked Guardians of the Galaxy, but I was bored with it. Games launching in a really bad state and take too long to get fixed. Remakes and remast...
That's one of the things UbiSoft did right with the first Watch Dogs. I watch an interview with one of the devs talking about, I think, content density. They really focused on making sure everywhere on the map got utilized for something. They didn't want to build a big city and just have big sections that never get used.
Depends. Do you consider EA stuff right now competent? Joking aside. Video games aren't easy so can't really blame them for having problem early on. Kind of like how their TV stuff started out and took a few years to get good. Buying EA bring in already established developers so it's not like that'd drastically change under a new ownership (unless too many key people jump ship right away).
Did you real the article, perhaps? Or even the single sentence preview just under the title?
"It’s funny people are trying to get me to change my opinion on something"
You claiming to have not had a single bug across multiple Bethesda games isn't an opinion in the first place. You're stating it as a matter of fact. One that no one can believe any more than someone trying to say dogs are plants.
It'll be PS+ some day.

Looks good
Probably going to pick one up just because of this. My original one went bad pretty quick. Black one I got has done well so far but I've had a couple moments oddness recently so I think it might be starting to go. If this is how they're going to be, being able to replace the stick modules easily seems to be the best way to go.
I thought this was not a remaster.
