I think the point is that since the comparisons is absolute numbers, the number of outlets skews the numbers.
The first president could convince 100% of the people... and get 5 votes.
Whereas the other guy can convince 10% of the people... and get 20 votes.
If you looked at the votes, you'd think the second guy was much better.
... but Halo didn't even have regenerating health.
... but maybe I should read articles first. (doh)
... how would the three other people paying $5 lead to them all being able to share it?
Edit: I'm still not seeing how the remaining two people will get access to the maps. Seems like only the first two guys would have the DLC.
I'm not really buying the e-sport angle.
First, because the game doesn't have to only be 6v6. Games like CounterStike and TeamFortress support larger player counts. The player count is decreased when it's a competitive game, but it isn't hard capped to 12 players.
Second, the AI in the game won't work well in a competitive setting... unless if they're simplistic and have a very well-defined and predictable behaviour (such as creeps in ...
@Fox
Considering it is a shooter, I would expect that it will, at some point, feel like a shooter.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go re-play Brink and AssassinsCreed. Apparently, there were mech battles in those games that I've missed in my earlier playthroughs.
That's surprising.
I wasn't expecting the site to become viral so quickly.
Are you saying that as a joke because Metro 2033 doesn't have a PS3 version...
... or are you both confusing it with the sequel, Last Light?
What? Could you speak up please?
We at Activision can't hear you under our mountain of money.
So, you went from pretending to be a PC gamer, to now going "us consoles gamers".
Might want to get some help to treat that multiple-personality disorder. Wouldn't want to see you end up like Ocelot.
... why is someone spending all that money buying multiple cards that all disappear after Jan 3?
... or does he want the goofy stuff you get after crafting the cards? (In which case, why not just buy them?)
Don't get how they managed to spend 3k.
We'll go to anyone for their opinions as long as they agree with our own.
There was some neat things, such as having the winners make a video. I particularly liked AC4's (which I was glad to see win) and the internet seems to like Joel Banderas.
... but I only counted like, five awards which were given out during the show?
Oddly enough, they gave some of the awards during the pre-play. Which is a shame because some of those videos were actually interesting, such as the best voice actor/actress awards.
Not sure why they didn...
@Foxtrot
You pretty much proved his point.
No game like TitanFall exists yet, unless if you can somehow play four different games at the same time.
Whereas, Infamous has similar gameplay to its previous iterations with better visuals.
So no, the two aren't the same, and this isn't the first time Titanfall has won a 'most anticipated' award.
POTATOES!!!
I wouldn't really pin the blame on Joel for the VGX.
It's a good thing you showed up in an article about a game you don't care about and told us all about it.
... they'll take the hint that they need to make the grind worse.
They're not going to let go the microtransaction teet.
It is a fake.
... but why fact check when you can get hits?
Yea, but 10 times of zero is still zero. =/
That doesn't explain the glowing controllers.
^ The ability to play the multiplayer portion of retail games you've paid full price for is now considered a 'bonus' for paying a subscription?
That's same talented mental gymnastics.
