This is an intentional move on the part of ND.
By getting rid of the creative and game directors, they can now learn what being uncharted is all about.

Gotta admire their devotion to authenticity.

I suppose I could inform you that not everyone has bought dead space 1...
... or that using steam doesn't mean you can't use origin...
... or that steam is still a form of DRM
... or that, unlike steam, origin doesn't require itself to be running just to play dead space.

Instead, I'll just bubble you up for 'funny', because it is more likely that you are just joking and having fun.

... because releasing a 2014 game on Origin for free would be a smarter decision?

Big Boss seems to be getting better with age.

2 minutes in, and he's already infiltrated a base and extracted a hostage.
In MGS3, it took him two minutes just to climb a ladder.

Saying she doesn't look anything like Ellen Page is going a bit too far there.

... but yea, considering her age, I think a younger actor (who likely won't be as well known) is probably the way to go.

I hear CounterStrike is the most popular FPS game on PC because of its breath-taking visuals, large 64 player battles, and completely destructible environments.

I wouldn't know, I haven't played CS.
Personally, I refuse to buy any game with less than 1000 players in it because Planetside 1 could do it in 2003. I also demand fully destructible environments like Red Faction 2.
Come on people, the industry has to move forwards.

They take a bit of time to get used to, but soon enough you'll be chain-grinding on wires with ease.

If I was to wager a guess, I would say the controls feel a bit floaty at first because the platforming isn't baby-proofed like in so many other games.

... either that, or Sucker Punch has gone meta. Cole/Delsin must learn how to master his powers, and likewise, you must learn how to master the controls.

I thought Black Flag was pretty good.

Then again, my expectations were pretty low going in to that game because the setting seemed kinda forced...
... but I'll be damned. It's up there with AC2 as one of the best in the series for me.

Any game with more content or a cheaper price is better value.

Again, what's the point?

Starhawk and Socom weren't online only. They had a campaign.
They were also priced at $60. (I believe Socom came with a headset though, kinda like Warhawk)

An online-only game would be MAG, which was also $60.

Makes me wonder if they have a next (or current?)-gen version planned too.

If they've spent all that effort into making an atmospheric game, it would be a shame if only one fraction of gamers got to experience all of it.

That's assuming the PC version itself isn't downgraded. If it is, then that's...

Battlefield's campaign just seems to be getting worse and worse.
In BF4, you play as a mute squad leader. Friggin' brilliant DICE.

I still play the campaign hoping they might recapture the magic they had with Bad Company's SP. Alas, disappointment every time.

The joys of people commenting on games they haven't played and calling others ignorant.

^ Apples and Oranges are also bought with the same currency.
Doesn't mean it is wise to compare them. =)

Pretty soon we'll be comparing the length of a game with the length of a book.

It's not really systematically flawed.
It lists the number of reviews, and the average.

Any knowledgeable person should be able to figure out that a small number of reviews means the average is uncertain.
The author knows that too.
The author also knows how to bait people.

I guess this is more incentive for me to stick with the PS3/PC until a solid, cheaper, catalog of games becomes available for the new-gen.

Can't really justify paying $70 for new games when $50 gets a year of PS+ (which keeps the PS3 busy) while PC has deals like Thief's pre-order for $20.

It'll be interesting to see if revenue increases or decreases from this increase. The price might be higher, but if less people buy the game, then publishers an...
