Well, games like TLOU and GTA also got away from plenty of criticism, so this isn't anything new.
There is no right or wrong. It's just opinion.
Some see lack of weapon choices, others see balanced gunplay.
Are you telling me that a game that is only on two platforms has less streams than a game that is on at least five platforms?
I am shocked.
I suppose LoL and Dota2 are now kings of all gaming considering that we're using twitch as a benchmark.
Wow. He could buy a million dollars with that!
... it says nearly 5000 players on the x360 cleared the game, but on the PS3, only 5 players have done it.
That... doesn't.... what?
^ You already have a choice. Use the controller your comfortable with.
There's no shortage of analog controller designs on the market. I'd imagine they work with the steam box.
Edit: Well, don't arbitrarily restrict your own choices while clamoring about 'wanting a choice'.
The current game design is such that players will get a titan at roughly the same time. (Good ones get it just a bit early)
So the game initially starts with only infantry combat, then the titans start dropping and they keep coming until the end.
Once called, the titans do not have an expiry timer, and will stay on the field until dead.
This was just some background info.
If you have 10 players, but only 6 can call a titan, then those remaining four pl...
I am here so that everyone else has a lower chance of winning.
Doesn't seem to be working.
If anything, EA's been making more bad moves in the last two years.
... a demo for a F2P game?
Edit: Price tag is for early access, because technically the game isn't released yet.
It's kinda like how Dota2 or Planetside2 were at one point.
Well, I usually base me purchase based on how good the product is, not how much time went into making it.
By your line of thinking, Duke Nukem Forever should've been $600.

The gamers who played the game at game shows and in the alpha/beta wouldn't have enjoyed the game either if it wasn't for all the marketing hype.
It's sad that people will misinterpret your truthful comments as a silly attemp...
... you could play it instantly as soon as it releases if you preload it. =/
Edit: Also, the download size seems to be more like 20Gb. 50Gb is the unpacked install size.
... how about a car?
"The hype just keeps building and building, but it feels so contrived."
Yea, all this stuff with the beta and letting gamers play the game and see it for themselves.
So contrived.
... are you saying that immersion-breaking AI and flawed online are not big criticisms?
Those two games got plenty of perfect scores and their fair share of GOTY awards.
We can go further back and look at games like Skyrim... or everyone's favorite beating toy: GTA4.
The double standards for hyped games have been there for a long time, and that was my point.
What you're looking at is the raw quantity of content, which is not a big deal in multi...
