I fell for it. =(
... but do people want oxygen?
For a game running at 60fps, MW2 looked quite good.
Aww, EA thinks they're valve.
Well, ain't that cute?
I hold Bethesda in pretty high regard... even though I've yet to play any game by them... but I plan on grabbing the Bethesda pack if it ever gets a sale on Steam.
They seem to be one of the few devs that support the modding community. As long as Skyrim has mod-support, I'm perfectly happy with them.
Yea, I'm not bothering with 3D until it becomes glasses-free and they work out the kinks to it.
Right now it just seems like a gimmick that TV/Monitor manufacturers want to push.
Granted, I've only tried it on PC games and it just ends up hurting my eyes. Maybe it's something you get used to. Meh.
Winners:
- Valve
- Indie Devs
- People who own any of those indie games (they got free content)
- People who wanted to buy those indie games (they got an awesome deal)
- People who had Portal2 pre-ordered (they could've gotten the game early)
Losers:
- People who bought the sack only in hopes of seeing the game launch early and are incapable of getting $30 of entertainment out of those games.
- People who bought the ...
^ Valve issued a challenge, people failed to complete the challenge.
It's not a scam. If you monitored the numbers, they weren't that high.
As a result, people are going to complain that they were scammed into buying some of the best indie games at 75% off.
Edit:
The bars increase at a rate proportional to the percentage of owners playing. So, the more people that buy it, the harder it would be to fill the bar.
That being said,...
I wish I had enough money to take part in bidding wars.
=(
SilentHills 2 to 4 are also on PC.
Though I don't know much about downpour. Pretty much stopped following the franchise since the 4th one.
Seems the only reason it's still alive is because they don't want to create a new IP.
...forum?
O.o
Might be more-so an issue of people approving nonsense.
Kinda hard to sell that when things like this keep getting approved and comments of anger start racking up. =/
As far as action games go, I'd say DevilMayCry did a good job of having (pioneering?) a similar system.
(Bayonetta might also have it. Dunno. Haven't played it)
Ofcourse, when someone skilled actually played DMC3, all you can see are bright flashes of light and things dying. =/
There was some freedom to do things your way. Whereas in bulletstorm, it feels kinda forced.
...did you mean Annoymous? O.o
I have coulrophobia.
Heavy make-up tends to trigger it too.
There's my excuse for not liking make-up.
Heh, I remember a few TF2 sessions where someone felt I needed some training with Pyro and we would do air-blast-reflecting with him using the huntsman.
After a lot of humiliation, now I just air-blast projectiles instinctively...
... and to think I was perfectly content with setting fire to things.
=)
Price isn't set by hardware alone.
Demand is also a factor.
Before you go off writing that article, perhaps you should read this article first?
It's based on satisfaction of customers who bought the game. So it's based on percentage of buyers who were satisfied with the game.
Some asians are scary good in shooters.
SuddenAttack is popular from what I've heard (not in Japan though)
However, all those ads on that site sure aren't helping japanese stereotypes. =/
Already unlocked on steam.
I should've pre-ordered it.
