I personally don't care about custom soundtracks through the dash. In-game ones that replace background music is okay sometimes. For chat, I'm not going to use any voice chat during a game outside of online lobbies, but I do want the ability to check and send messages and cross game invites without having to back out of the game completely or go through some confusing menu in the game.
With in-game XMB and cross-game invites, there's not much on the gaming side of things that are very different between the two services. I'm sure both Sony and Microsoft will be debuting new features for their respective online platforms at E3 next month.

If you're asking me, we gave Mass Effect a 4.5/5. It would have gotten a 4.75 (making it 9.5/10), but our review scoring system at the time was whole numbers and .5 only, based out of a total score of 5.
From the looks of it, a lot of Xbox 360 fanboys are crapping all over the game, as expected. To be fair, PS3 fanboys did the same thing to Halo and Gears of War
Fair enough. I'm closing in on matching my hours with GTA already in MGS4, based on playtime noted in my game saves.
I'm not sure I'd go so far as to say it's the best game of all time, but it's insanely good and has a very strong chance of winning game of the year
I personally don't think it does at all. The cutscenes are all great and not once did I think "WTF will this end". In previous MGS games, you spent a lot of time watching the Codec to get story elements. I'd much rather watch the amazing cutscenes than just read the text and look at green-colored faces.
I haven't skipped any cutscenes on my second playthrough either.
Agreed. It's well worth buying a PS3 just for Metal Gear Solid 4
The game is flat out amazing. Going back on my second playthrough now. Even the second time around, you're so compelled to keep going. Kojima did an amazing job on the story. Don't want to say anymore and spoil it for anyone
The only part of the CoD4 single player that got to me was in the very beginning when you're running out of the sinking ship. As the boat is turning further and further sideways, I got a bit iffy. Thankfully it didn't last very long
I never really had a problem with Half Life 2 on PC. Unreal games on PC have usually messed me up, but the Xbox version (original that came out when Live launched) and UT3 on PS3 both are good for me. No motion sickness there.
You can disagree all you want. I've gone through and actually created a new PS3 User Account with a new PSN name. I then went to the Konami site and created a new Konami ID. I fired up MGS4 with the new PSN account and went to MGO, entered the new Konami ID and was told I could not create another character because one has already been created on my PS3.
If you don't believe, go do it yourself. I've already done it, hense my proof for the article.
