The first one was pretty good. I might have to pick this one up.

Yeah this one is pretty good. Solid fight engine, good controls, cool graphics.

Very true! Although the pricing model for Lord of the Rings Online is very fair compared to WoW.

Porta-Potty Feat of Strength is just hilarious!

This is one game where I don't mind there being no voice chat. I find it distracting in music games to have people BS'ing on the headset during a song

Yeah the delay isn't that long. I am surprised, though, that Harmonix isn't pushing to get the game out for all platforms on or before Guitar Hero: World Tour ships

I think it's good to see the Wii not getting extremely short-changed here. Although, it's only a little over 6 months between the release of the first Rock Band and the sequel for the platform.

Yeah the classes in the game are pretty cool and so are the destructive environments. I just wish there were more multiplayer modes. I know Conquest is coming, but still, two modes only isn't all that much.

Yeah I'm sure fanboys will have a field day with that

The Holiday season is always a great time for gaming. This year will be no different

Yeah I tried it out and didn't want any part of it. I figured my hand would get all cramped up after about 15 minutes

Practice, practice, practice :)

Learn what moves work, how to defend other character's special moves (in this case, it's one set), and practice stringing them together in combos. Check out YouTube for some combo videos if need to see them in action.

True. I'm going to wait, though, until Starcraft 2 comes out before I buy or build a new gaming rig. Nothing big coming until then

I used to destroy people in the arcades with Street Fighter II. I won my first 11 matches online in the HD Remix Beta.

I think StarCraft II will be out first and make people buy a new rig. Who knows, Diablo III could be delayed so long that whatever they buy for StarCraft II might not be good anymore...

I'm still upset that Diablo II and Starcraft no longer work on Mac's running the latest version of Leopard with NVIDIA 8600 or 8800 cards. Apple and NVIDIA pulled 256-color support with the 10.5.3 update. Boo

You're right. Gamers are a fickle crowd and nothing is ever good enough. Sadly, I don't see that changing anytime soon (especially with the anonymity of the internet and online gaming).

You have to weight your choices. If there's a new game on the horizon, you don't want to do anything that would jeopardize shipping on time or adding new features or tweaks. For developers that aren't deep into new game development, I think it's a possibility.

EDIT@aftrdark21 - Good points. Bubbles for you! I agree about the sequel thing, as long as development timelines aren't tight as it is.

Personally, if I wasn't going to go back and play them anyway, getting Trophies isn't going to pull me back.

6442d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

To the people who think it's a problem, I just don't understand. You bought the games without trophy support, so it's not like you're getting short-changed. The developers are working on other new projects, so they don't have the time and man-power to devote to adding Trophies to older titles.
