If it only took you 3 minutes, you must have only had a couple things to download again. I had over 600 things listed, of which I probably re-downloaded about 300 (I skipped almost every trailer, but had to do themes, gamer pictures, add-on content, demos, XBLA games, etc).
I didn't have the energy to rip my hair out while re-downloading everything. It was more of tunnel vision, red eyes, and boredom.
I'm hoping Microsoft does some streamlining, but I'm definitely happy the service is there. I got a headache after about an hour of going through all the stuff to re-download.
The actual fix was released in June from Microsoft, which completely moves the licenses to your current console. The old work-around worked, but it didn't solve the problem.
There's an "Article" section of the site for a reason...
Never say never. While it highly probable that it will never happen due to technical constraints, if Konami wants the money from the sales that bad, they'll figure out a way
I'd agree with that. Even without the FF13 announcement, I think MS had the best of the Big 3.
I don't if I'd say a total failure, but there were no big reveals to make the crowds go ooh and ahh. I think everyone was expecting something like that, but there was nothing there to get extremely excited about that wasn't already known.
Yeah it's been a good 2 years!
Yeah it was a pretty good discussion of what all went down. Personally, I think MS was the best of the Big 3, with Nintendo coming in second and Sony lagging behind.
True that. Gotta love giving back!
I think it's cool, but what if you're playing in surround sound? Crank up the volume and A) you won't hear people and B) other people are just going to hear your loud volume
I can't wait to start hearing dogs barking in the background. Better yet, there's gonna be some great internet memes with kids getting yelled at for playing too much by mommy
Yeah, that would be cool to get a Gears shirt. Definitely a good idea. With the way it looked in the video, you'll be able to customize everything separately. Hopefully it doesn't end up at buying shoes for Microsoft Points
Depends on how the patents work, but I'm guessing they won't or can't. I don't Microsoft would have made a feature that their casual system will revolve around if there were major patent issues.
You're probably right. I've been trying to get in touch with a few people at MS for the past half hour, but they're all tied up
Whether or not Bungie is part of Microsoft has nothing to do with a Halo announcement. Microsoft owns the franchise, not Bungie.
Yeah I don't think a 4th console is what the gaming community wants or needs. And people won't buy one console just to get sports games and such. EA has a bad reputation in the industry, so I don't think they'd garner too much third party support for their console. A console with all first party titles will fail miserably.
Sony has exclusive deals in place with NCSoft and there's a DC Universe MMO coming for both PC and PS3. I'd expect we'll here more info tomorrow. They also have The Agency, and MMO FPS of sorts coming to both PC and PS3.
Not really sure. It's coming out to the PSP and DS at the same time. I guess they had to work all all the online stuff and sharing of levels
