PS5 is the future we want, or at least 'should' want - that's for damn sure. I want great hardware and great games. I think PlayStation is very important for the preservation of traditional gaming.
Oh I knew all along you weren't bigoted and what you were saying. I feel the same way about all of it really, but it bothers me a little less because I loved the first game and I'm confident (despite the agenda) that they're making an apolitical survival game, where civil strife and relationships are the focus.
The guy put together a pretty sound, intelligent post. I don't see why you're raging over it. What wasn't necessary was your aggressive, 'edgy' response.
"It seems thats all xbox people care about is if their next console will be more powerful than the next playstation."
There's so much nonsense in this sentence, and really, the entire post. What exactly is an 'Xbox person' and how do you know what 'their'...
I understand people's feelings on that, and I'm no fan of PC and SJW culture, but Ellie is apparently a lesbian, and that's just fine with me.
I think that kiss with Dina (presumably her girlfriend to be) dies 'possibly' by the hands of a specific faction, and that sets up Ellie's anger/revenge theme. "I'm going to kill every, last, one of them." The focus on that kiss was necessary to explain why Ellie was so angry and vengeful in that...
The Xbox brand Charge and Play Kit; I don't see why anyone investing in an Xbox would 'not' buy that peripheral. To me it makes absolutely no sense.
It's got a long-ass charging cord and the charge lasts a very long time. You never need to remove the battery pack. I haven't done so this entire generation.
There were subtle hints, but it wasn't emphasized, no. Maybe the mocking stemmed from her not really knowing her sexuality. I remember her and Riley 'discussing boys' so it wasn't really clarified, but it was ever so subtly implied over the course of Left Behind.
The main game had nothing to do with sexuality and that was a good thing. Ellie was the perfect age, and her age difference with Joel and their shared dynamic helped make the story more compelling....
Alright buddy, slow down. Reading that was physically exhausting.
We can't tell at this point whether Microsoft's higher end console will be more powerful than the PS5. I do think there's a good chance of that happening though, because they got so lambasted over Xbox One's lack of power when it released, by everyone. The Xbox One X was a statement saying 'We hear you', at least as far as power goes. I really don't think they want to cede the powe...
You don't need to tell them that. Just be objective. I've been using my X for months and my Pro hasn't seen any action since God of War.
Days Gone will change that in a few days.
Lol @ "coming clean." Is that what we're calling it? They revealed some information about their specs. They came clean!
I think it's a good thing that Sony let us know about the SSD, their target in regards to CPU, and that it's going to be backward compatible. They revealed just enough to get us excited, and that's all they should reveal for the moment, not just because of Microsoft and Xbox, but because it's all we need to know.

PlayStation over PC for me.
The services and micros are EA's main strategy, but first you have to sell the games. The problem is, the games have gotten so terrible and built around micros that nobody wants to buy them to begin with.
If EA could just publish some good-faith games, without all the nonsense, I think the negativity surrounding this company would drop.
This Fallen Order game could be their chance to start coming back. I think consumer awareness is extremely high rega...
I agree to a degree. Some of the more proven developers and franchises (mostly first party) are safe to pre-order, but third party games I keep an eye on.
The casting is top notch here.
This game is going to be excellent in every way. Ellie was leaning lesbian in the first game. Why the 'outrage' now? Let her be a damn lesbian.
General rule of thumb. Never pre-order an EA game. Wait til all the details are revealed. Honestly, maybe just don't buy them at all.
Let's also hope Mitch Dyer has nothing to do with the writing of this game.
Yeah, I still have the same charge kit (no lie) and it still holds a nice charge that lasts days. All Sony needs to do is tweak the DS4 a little and keep the basic design and PS5's controller will be fine.
I think Sony fear the removable pack idea but it would really be for the better.
Who could possibly disagree with this? I think a lot of Sony's success comes from the fact that the right people are in the right places. There's no internal headbutting so to speak. They all share the PlayStation vision.
Sony's non-rigid approach with its studios helps create a stress-free environment in their studios, and you really can see the passion in their games. They're not fighting any corporate constraints; they're just given freedom to make wh...
Agreed. At this point, there's no point, unless you want to spend extra money or you just can't wait a year and a minute. Especially with the knowledge that PS5 will be backward compatible with PS4.
Just never change Sony, unless it's necessary, and you'll be fine.
Halo stopped being iconic, I think, after Halo 3. Lost the charm or the 'magic.' Gears is right along with it. First game was groundbreaking, but now it reminds me, literally, of a rusted system of gears and cogs that just won't move.
Microsoft really needs to get some fresh new ideas with their first party stable. It's gotten to the point of ridiculousness. I love the ecosystem, the controller, and the hardware, but they need games desperately. This generat...
Agreed.
The guy's a piece of shit, but he bought those games. He owns them or the rights to them. Sony also has a right to enforce their ToS, however, not 'allowing' the guy to play the games he 'bought and paid' for, with his money, is a step too far.
They can revoke his PS+ membership and ban him for a time, but to literally take away every digital game he ever 'paid' for is completely unacceptable. They need to take a more n...
