Hear, hear.
I'd love to see some of those old properties resurrected. I'd definitely like to see Altered Beast, Golden Axe and Shinobi exhumed and given some modern treatment. Plenty of potential lying dormant.
Sonic can take a hike. He's definitely overstayed his welcome.
You're just not used to it. When I was thirteen and PlayStation (one) was introduced, I thought the name was terrible.
'The station where you can play'
It sounded infantile to me, and I thought it would perpetuate the idea that video games are just toys for kids. When I asked my parents for it they scoffed. "PlayStation? What does that do for you? How much is it going to cost me for you to play?' What about the Sega and the Nintendo...
Yeah, it's the dawn of a new generation for games, like it or not. I'm personally not thrilled at the prospect of things being ultra-social and I'm not keen on streaming at all, but here we are.
Hopefully, PlayStation continues to heavily influence gaming as the years go on with their exclusive, story-driven games. If PlayStation buckles, we all lose. They're the ones that are keeping traditional single player gaming alive.
I also hope tha...
That's wild.
I thought 'PlayStation' sounded corny when it debuted and I was thirteen, but I didn't really care because I was so wowed by the graphics, the discs, and Twisted Metal that it really didn't bother me.
We were so used to Nintendo and Sega that anything else at the time sounded silly to us.
Agreed. Best RPG I've ever played and I was born in 81. I've played a lot. Decent amount of JRPG and lots of old TSR PC games. Witcher 3 is in a class all its own. I've said so much about this game and why it's so great, so I'm not going to go into a long-winded, laudatory gushfest.
If you can't get into it, I urge you to keep trying. I was put off initially, but I kept playing and it clicked.
No Ori and the Blind Forest.
Ridiculousness.
Me too.
No, no it does not. Enough with the nonsense.
It's a video game, and they're zombie kids, really. There's nothing immoral about this.
I didn't find the game worthwhile after completing the epilogue. People played the online for awhile and abruptly stopped. I never tried it, thought it looked awful.
God of War did it right. You could plow through the story and be satisfied with the game's length, but there was a lot of interesting side stuff to stretch it out.
I'm still totally indifferent. The emotional back and forth this topic stirs up is a constant amusement though.
Please do!
I've been meaning to get back into Ruiner, but I've been too busy with other games. I enjoyed what I've played of it so far.
Boy did this game come and go fast. Granted, some people are playing it, but after the initial, small impact it made, I haven't seen much enthusiasm from its community, or even more casual gamers.
Anyone who bought this game on my friends list is no longer playing it. They're on Apex Legends or The Division 2.
I think it's safe to say that Anthem is something of a dud.
Rickshaw those little bastards to the station, pronto.
This may be my favorite AC after Origins.
I enjoyed Odyssey too, but by the time I was done, I felt like I had completed ten hours on the toilet. Game had just too much shit.
Then we gotta call em athletes. That's the cherry on top of all that nonsense.
I think he got it straight away.
Her voice doesn't match her appearance. Other than that she's fine.
