The 'infected' in TLoU are infected with cordyceps, which mostly infect insects. The virus doesn't infect humans in reality, but in the game, it 'zombifies' them. It's much more interesting than your typical, flesh-eating zombie in that regard.
Days Gone borrows heavily from traditional zombie lore, whether the developers call them zombies or not.
I have it on GP but I keep avoiding it. Never looked good to me. I think Days Gone looks better, but I prefer the story aspect. State of Decay 2 seems to have a heavy focus on micromanaging.
Lol. No it fucking doesn't. Certain fans just can't take criticism or doubt. There's no 'media cabal' trying to bring the game down. Outta here with that nonsense.
Right.
I said I was "skeptical" regarding the game and someone replied to me trying to reduce broadness of the term to the more common associations like religion, philosophy, or global warming. He basically told me I was uncertain, which, also qualifies as skepticism.
I think it was that OB1Biker dude.
I think it looks alright, but at this point, that's all I can give.
Some games are just supposed to 'be.' This game's default is how it's supposed to be. If it's too difficult, that's too bad.
From aren't making an 'accessible' game they're just making a game, and if that game happens to be difficult, then that's the game. End of.
"Maybe you're just too good"
It's his skull (not his skill) that's the problem.
Lol, your detector is broken.
Yeah, thankfully there are no ridiculous Sen, Spirit Emblem, or Seed packs.
So, is Sekiro trash or are you getting trashed by it?
"And fans aren't happy" is about the only headline I see regarding this game.
Options certainly don't hurt. It's nice for people who prefer handheld or on-the-go gaming. Maybe if I were younger I'd appreciate it more. PS4 and Xbox are more than enough for me.
Nothing against Nintendo. I had the very first NES model (Christmas present) in 1985 with the original gray Zapper gun. I also had the track pad and power glove. Goddamn I wish I still had all that. I think a lot of people here think I hate Nintendo. I don't, but their content no...
It's a narrative-driven, open-world RPG that also happens to be an FPS, but the game play from what I can tell has more depth than just standard shooter fare. It's not like CoD or Gears.
It looks impressive and knowing what CDPR are capable of, I doubt it'll disappoint.
I fail to understand why.
It's a pretty good deal, but it would be even better If they could step up the AAA a little more. My problem (and it's my problem) is that I've played most of these games. I buy a lot of games so there's rarely a great game on GP that I haven't already played.
First world nonsense problems.
Definitely.
Second Son was still a great game, and there's always potential with a series like Infamous. You could go on and on with it.
Keeping an eye on this one. Reminds me a bit of SOMA, which was excellent.
I enjoyed it, at least in the beginning. The vastness, exploration, isolation, randomization, and nebulousness came together for a pretty neat experience.
Finished the game and never really looked back. The continued support has been on point though, and VR could be cool with this game.
Make sure you're set to 'HDR game mode' and you'll be gamin' toot sweet.
The ogre's tackle and slam were like a tractor beam. I killed him just by cutting and running.
Bloodborne and Nioh are a skip through the prairie compared to Sekiro. Literally, Sekiro makes Bloodborne and Nioh feel like you're skipping through a prairie, or eating ice cream.
Come on, join the club! Days Gone Day One! Fuck's wrong with you?
