wageslave - youre absolutely right. 100% agree.
EZCheez - I use wikipedia everyday. School, job, it always works. Its completely reliable for the stuff im searching for. My college actually encourages it. It is quite reliable, you just have to have common sense...
BTW.. i have an HD DVD player, guess what...i get HD movies 50% off from amazon, who can say that without pirating? ya...thanks...
Also, I dont really want to get in a language battle, b...
skitzoid - you clearly didnt understand the article. If it lags for 16 to 24 then how can they do 50? They mentioned in the article that they were adding dedicated servers. You dont know much about networking do you...
No doubt you cant judge from these images. Check out the sections around the text. They didnt use a lossless image compression. There is noise in the images. Therefore you cant use these images to compare.
I was into it as much as it was hyped.
Actually they can bash all they want...JUST GO TO THE OPEN ZONE. Thats what its for people.
heyheyhey - it is worth it. The same reason people still pay for windows as opposed to getting ubuntu free, its easier. Everything is automated and simpler. No instructions necessary.
But Lord Anubis, there are no pointers in C# and Java. Which makes it very much easier. They are also both object oriented. C# and Java (C# moreso in my opinion) are the best languages so far, and should be because they are some of the newest. MS knows what theyre doing in the programming field.
Also it is not C with different commands. Object Oriented vs Structured comes into play here. Also both Java and C# use frameworks that are already built. They arent completely compile...
zambrota - are you serious? You arent a real gamer.
Oooooo...Halo 3...Halo 3...who cares? Play the game.
IntelligentAj - You do know that Microsoft has enough money and power to go and compete in every single market Sony is in right? They could do this on a whim, and wouldnt take a second thought about it.
Are you guys stupid? I said it was using 10 to 20% of the SPUs' power, how is that a wrong statement? The wrong statement is that it uses 10 to 20% of the SPUs. THAT statement means its using about 1 out of 8 SPUs, understand the difference? Its using 5 SPUs, but 10 to 20% of the power of those SPUs. Understand now? God.
So CeruleanSky, i dont know what the hell YOU thought i was talking about.
Use 10% to 20% of the SPUs' POWER. Clarify this please.
Awesome. Way to go! :)
Btw, 4 lines may sound like a little, but a lot can be done in 4.
I think youre both doing something wrong. I use it a hell of a lot and its never crashed and never used more then 800MB of ram.
Edit: Im using premium. I dont understand how these people are having all these problems. What are you guys doing? Im doing movie playback, music playback, 3D modelling, paint programs. The only thing that gives me issues is firefox. It always has. It uses the most memory out of every program I have and crashes frequently.
Buy a Wii? Its never coming for the Wii...unless it comes to the 360. Microsoft owns the rights to the game, so good luck with that one.
Btw im not being stupid, i own a wii and would love for it to come to it. But the above reasons prevent that.
millertime8306 - It also could have been better if they had concentrated on the Wii or 360. Its that they can aim it towards the hardware theyre using, that that its super fantastic. They can optimize everything to the specs.
North America has some of the slowest speeds on the planet.
I dont think bill gates is leaving because of the Xbox. Maybe its because hes been there more then 30 years?
mikeslemonade - Mass Effect doesnt count?
No, it threatens Google, who is manipulating the public by saying this.
