Completely agreed. I have the money, I don't want to shell out 400 bucks and then have to buy games, and a headset. Someone did point out saving 150 bucks getting a Sony CC card...but I'm in Canada so that doesn't fly.
My only regret is passing grade 3.

I dont move my console and ive had a disc read error on my gears 2 disc twice already. For anyone this happens to get a bit of Brasso and polish it up, works like new (until it gets scratched again...).

Completely agreed. Grand Theft Auto 4 sucked, Force Unleashed sucks, and Gears 2 sucks (im a 360 and wii owner, trust me Gears 2 sucks).

ShinGino - This isnt RAM, its flash memory. The portion that holds the firmware.
znu - This doesnt affect linux, its the PS3's firmware. It means that the firmware is 16MB large, plus it needs that extra file. 512MB of storage for the firmware was overkill. That is my understanding of what this means.
I agreed, looks amazing. Definitely more variety than the first. But I think beating Halo 3 may be a little bit out of reach for this. It doesnt have as big a fan base.
They should use the specs of this server in the next playstation. No need for a GPU. 2 cell processors, 2GB of ram, awesome.
You can install the gnome and kde desktops on one install. Then you can choose at startup to go into ubuntu or kubuntu.
