I agree, Too Human is pretty good, its not the greatest game, but its still good.

They also have many good developer tools, a relatively good hold on the OS business and, despite what you may think or have been told, some of the smartest and best developers in the world.

With a big enough hard drive, doesnt this also eliminate blu-ray's advantage? You just install all the discs and then only need the first one.
I literally just downloaded it. And its not that bad, you have to get used to the swordplay. Id recommend trying it, but its not going to be the greatest game youve ever played.
GameDev - Its not all 1's and 0's. The Cell and Xenon are actually nothing alike. They have completely different instruction sets, from what i understand. The Cell processor has more math based instruction sets, so that it can crunch the numbers quickly, whereas the Xenon has IBM's PowerPC Instruction set, which makes it more of a general purpose thing, but not as good at math.
You clearly arent a game dev, otherwise you would understand that depending on the scientific calcula...

Also, what implies an article on CPU's? Perhaps an article written by the same people who created the CPU, about the CPU, outlining the details of the CPU and how it works?

Edit: I wasnt arguing which one was faster, nor did i say that its 6 threads are equivilent to the 7 spe's in the cell. I merely pointed out that you saying the 360 has 3 hardware threads is wrong, it has 3 cores, each of which would be more powerful than a spe on its own, but not 3 against 7 of them.

shazam - If they dont release hardware then why is it called an xbox? From what I see this means no disc format and more MMORPG's. As well it means they arent going to concentrate on the fastest hardware, kind of like the direction the wii went into.
Ya, thats not what it's design for. It's designed for efficiency, and that it does well.
Well if you read correctly it says its compatible, not that current blu-ray players can read these discs. It takes a special lens that you can add and remove liquid to so that it can reflect the light of the 200+ layers. So i wouldnt hope for a 1TB disc for PS3 any time soon.
This is stupid and not true. A black page consumes as much energy as a white one, its all in how monitors are designed. They are thinking of introducing an alpha portion to each pixel in an lcd screen to make this true, but it currently isnt.

CrazyMystical - In all fairness, HD DVD had a completed spec...blu-ray has won and still isnt done yet. Look to be buying a new blu-ray player after a few more profiles.
Unfortunately the second picture looks like there arent even textures so I see where you're coming from. But with games in development for a while they dont really have graphics in mind. Hopefully gameplay makes up for it.
Read the article. How could a developer that small handle a game on multiple systems with completely different architectures. Not only that, but im sure theyre working on a new Source engine, which is definitely a small undertaking.....
If you want to try it, before doing this i would use an ubuntu live cd in your PC. Then you wont go through all this work for nothing.
