Silly nintendo. You go on at e3 and try to cozy up to the hardcore crowed then go and spit in the faces of your hardcore fans.
Good business move. Trade shooter crowd for jrpg and story crowd.
Awesome.

Also if this article doesn't get passed fairly quickly if at all because of some stupid juvenile ooh it's sex talk I'm probably never using this site again sadly.

Violent pornography :(

In all seriousness though probably violence. Violensce causes more horrible living conditions and human rights abuses than anything. More over violence around children can put them on a path to being abusive parents themselves. Not just violently either.
Violence is a horrible curse upon our species, while a healthy appetite for sex doesn't usually do any permanent damage.

Besides if our society became more comfortable abou...

I can almost see where the detractors to hiring hackers are coming from but in the end it makes everything more secure by testing the established systems.
In the end it's all good.

I second that motion.
Heartily agree and all such mutterings.

I thought that You want old but new comfortable but surprise bit Reggie spouted to be kind of odd as well.

It just looks like a video game to me. Nothing very special about it. Crysis one made for a better realistic simulation of a piece of earth.

Some spots in that video where their showing broken pieces of earth you can just tell it's too smooth.

I guess some of the plants have lots of leaves.

Oh right I guess I forgot the climax of my story.
The next sony console will be the Playstation six

yup that is my guess. psp being the ps4 by count of playstation products. psvita being playstation five.

See that's an impressive list of games. Like you say they just don't green light most of them into a franchise. Even after that these games presumably don't get nearly the amount of marketing the main franchises get. Which would explain my not having heard of most of them.
Though there were a few I played on the computer, which in my books discounts something as an exclusive. Exclusive means one console, or console branch (Under one company).
Unless you consider w...

3d is not dumb it's immature technology. It has problems for some people now. The amounts of which vary.
Regardless of that at some point it will be glasses free and more akin to virtual holograms than semi protruding images and cardboard pop ups (which is the difference between a good 3d game and a bad one btw for the 3d detractors.)

This is a phase me must go through, it's the stepping stone to grander things. It gets the developers and designers thinking i...

I did not mean that the xbox has no exclusives. It very obviously has four.

I only meant that it didn't have a steady and constant supply of new core ip. You know new exclusives. Which are quite plentiful for sony.
I know core is a loosely based word and saying core groups aren't as interested in nintedo games is generalising but WHEN YOUR DEALING WITH MILLIONS OF PEOPLE GENERALISATIONS AND AVERAGES IN PERCENTAGES ABOVE SIXTY ARE CONSIDERED ACCURATE. (Caps to ...

It's broader than ever right now but all their Internet savvy core base (which is a fairly small group tbh) are wailing about lack of fresh games for them.
Their not worth as much money though so the good ship xbox continues to sail into the vast sea of broad user base. Which reads out as young and old and casual. Which is a massive market that will make them more money than we will ever spend.

I think microsoft knows that the real casual players will always go fo...

Reviewers of all media get this pretty bad.
They get really excited about anything thats different from the norm.
Hopefully if more gamers get to this point we'll see more sales of weird and quirky games.

I think their totally missing thousands of opportunities with first person gaming.

Relegating nearly all games in the first person perspective into the fps genre really limits those games to stories that can be told behind a gun.

Why not a knife, or an axe. A torch or lighter. Anything. Make some fp horror games, where your chasing and being chased by monsters.

Imagine something in the mirrors edge engine except your being hunted by a warewol...

Kind of a rambling article. Not bad though.

OT: Yes they can though I think the violence should not be the core gameplay feature or it becomes boring.

Say do like a monster movie style thing.
A game where about a werewolf.
Your in your village when the wolf starts attacking. Bites someone close to the character to start the game.
Your equipped at various times with a torch a knife an axe and your fists. The werewolf controls regular wo...

what the publishers need to do is have customer incentives. Points towards other new games for being a supporter.

Or they could just stop being ridiculous with their pricing.

Some games are worth 70 dollars. Very very few and definitely not a game that is released yearly with incremental changes.

Some games are worth sixty, still not very many, the big AAA's like GTA, RDR, Gran Turismo, elder scrolls, etc. Big ass big budget games that ...

I really don't think that is as bad at all, That either games traded directly across or for a good discount or at nearly full value. Regardless all of that goes into the pocket of the person that bought it who then usually purchases another new game.

I think the problem with doing it in a store is that their selling along side the new versions as competing products. Plus the store you trade at is generally ripping you off more than that guy on craigslist would be.

It wouldn't be too hard for someone to modify that into a 3d version of the game. I mean the worlds there why not.

People always bring the pc into these arguements. Nobody every talks about the pc in this regard. It's not even a contest. Why start off every statement with while the pc obviously has better graphics of the twe console versions bla bla bla
