See I think the key difference with the vita is that their going after a different market of casual.
I mean there is like casual casual which phones and to some extent the DS suck up.
There is however also the shooter casual crowd. Which Activision has shown to be large and full of purchasing power.
This device is making a bit of a push at the casual casual market with the touch stuff for sure. They want to be able to sel it to everyone of course. Tou...
The only one on the reaaly worth playing is bioshock.
He laments not playing the second one too but it wasn't cannon to the story more tacked on for $.
god of war 3 ruined the series in my humble opinion. The first one was great, the second one was ok the third one made me hate the character of krato's who origionally was some what sympathetic. In the end he looked like an angry 3 year old in a tantrum.
Heavy rain was pretty good but ...
ps2 classics rather
Sort of.
The next gen of home consoles will be the last gen of home consoles and the next gen of portables will probably be both home console and portable console.
At least in sony's case, nintendo may be reluctant to do it.
Sony is already almost there with the vita, it doesn't have hdmi out but if it did it would be competition for the home consoles.
I have no doubt that sony's next portable will have hdmi out and the ability to ...
I wouldn't be surprised if the ps3 classics already on the psn work on the vita either out of the gate or not too long after release.
The games were terribly priced when it came out but in the past like year or so mostly, most of the games have dropped to reasonable prices. Plus there are lots of sales on psp games that update each week. I can often find games I want to play for ten or fifteen dollars. Some for less, though their usually older or not very big titles.
The lack of internal storage does suck but I'm not bothered by the form factor really. I can see the whole thing needing to be bigger wit...
Totally true although I think the publishers are more to blame than developers.
That is hilariously awesome lol
The hdmi cradle.
I being such a savvy tech purchaser got a pspgo ages ago and have a nice stock of digital games.
I don't see why everyone hates on the thing it's far superior to the regular psp's.
It's actually portable for one, get better battery life and the 16gb storage space it comes with makes it the cheapest media player with that much space on it.
I picked it up originally as an mp3 player because there weren't any ...
I kind of look at them as a record of mostly every game I've ever played on the ps3. Not just which games but how much I played them which equates to how much I enjoyed them.
So technically you could make a good profile of someones gaming personality and tastes just by looking at their trophy list. If it was extensive enough.
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha hahahahahahahahaaaaa
"Let me break that down: Someone says battlefield, I think- tactics and teamwork whereas if someone says call of duty, I think- Running and gunning, mindless killing. "
See here is the thing. People bash modern warfare because it's essentially mindless killing. Mindless being the key word.
There are people who consider themselves not to be mindless and look down on the people that enjoy mindless types of games. Just because their mindless.
colorless fps is colorless
I don't use mine much anymore but I haven't gotten any games that use it in ages. I'm planning on getting sorcery whenever it comes out and am totally going to use it for bioshock infinite.
I think this was possibly the worst article I've read all week. Holy crap.
Just an fps... with totally destructible environments.
It was designed first and foremost for the pc... soooo what? is that bad.
Modern Warfare 3... Looks just like Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops and doesn't have environments that can be destroyed and plays on the a modified quake 3 engine from eleven years ago.
I don't even really like mos...
That was a good video I'm going to watch the rest now.
Gives me something else to watch between extra credits episodes. lol
I don't think they just use a resume for those kind of jabs.
Usually when your trying to get on developing games, or doing anything creative really you have a portfolio of your work. Your best work to show people what you can do. What your talents and strengths are.
Plus I've never met anyone that could afford to work for free for a few months.
Sounds a little imaginary.
Technically they should all just be fairly compensated for the work they do.
Still are, their just releasing shows on youtube now.
This was the best part of the article.

Gamers let gaming rule their life
A lot of us will spend a lot of time playing games but I personally believe that this doesn’t mean we let it rule our lives. How is playing a game any worse than watching the TV for hours on end? At least when we game we are engaged actively and personally rather than just brain dead staring. We have control over what happens which makes playing a game a far better and more i...
