The ps3 os uses less ram every time they do an update. So it does get increased ram, just rather slowly and not a huge jump.
Additionally if it's written properly it doesn't need as much ram because of the cell.
Yes it would be nice and more awesome to have it but look at the things the first party dev's do.

It's not like the xbox which has capped it's graphical abilities. Games are still improving graphics wise on the ps3. Why do people want a new one so badly.

I think there's a difference between those rounds and .50 colibur rounds.
The ak rounds will wound, people do live from those because their generally wearing armour and stuff. Still takes the person out of the fight but thats not what we're talking about.
Whereas the .50 caliber sniper rifles generally used in games and armed forces today will blow someone nearly in half.

I think the stats on games that are only single player or have a good campaign (thats worth finishing) would be much higher.

It obviously is a good system. It just sells a bit better in the states because it's american made.
technically it will be beat by phones and tablets spec wise but thuy are not dedicated gaming devices. The power they have has to continue to support the phone features while running games so no it won't be beat out spec wise by any of them because this will be only running games. The games will have all of the resources to use where as phones and tablets will have only like half to three quarters of the available power and ram.

Making snipers not a one hit kill makes them next to useless unless you headshot everytime. After it recoils it's near impossible to hit someone again.

I'm excited for the AR games. Overly so, that graffiti app looked pretty neat. I hope there are lots more that involve it. They will probably bring invizimals back, I doubt it'll compete with pokemon but if they do it right it could be waaaay more interesting.
