I don't get why everyone says it sucks. I think everyone let themselves be tricked into thinking it's bad just because the majority of people are disappointed with the lack of what happened with the gameplay.
The game doesn't suck by any means, and if you truly know hoe to play the game is fast and action packed. Yes I too wish it was modernized, and yes the gameplay is the same as last gen games, but the last gen game (Resident Evil 4) was rated one of the best game for the ye...
I loved it. I wish they modernized it more in gameplay (moving and shooting the major flaw), but it's a great game with great graphics, and hopefully a great story to go along with it.

It's possible. I see Microsoft doing this to spur sells in Japan more so than just to make it smaller. Every time a newer model of a console or handheld comes out in Japan sells spike, so if MS can get a slimmer, smaller, sleeker 360 out and ensure the hardware is fail proof this time around they may garner up a few hundred thousand consoles in Japan especially if that slim model comes with another price cut.

It looks really nice, but it's so small. I really don't get the point in netbooks, when they cost as much if not more than an average laptop, and usually have less features than a laptop (less RAM, less HDD, weaker processor).
Netbooks would be more useful if they cost $300 - $500 rather than $1000.

I liked Crisis Core's gameplay better than any of the Final Fantasy's, and since FF13vs. is an evolution of that gameplay it's the one for me for sure.

I pray this doesn't happen. I like Nathan Hale, and I don't get why a lot of people bag on him. Master chief is a freaking green unknown, Jordan Freeman doesn't even talk, Marcus Fenix is a he brute, so why is it that all of these characters get a pass.
Anywho I hope you play as Nathan Hale, after Capelli shoots him in the head he instantly heals, and attacks Capelli, but a swarm of soldiers come and shoot ...
Agreed. Most mechs are super slow, wonky, and clumsy in games, and this one can move and at a pretty nice speed (smart move on their part).

I love Uncharted so I hope so. I can see it definitely surpassing Killzone from a gameplay perspective. They said it's 50% Uncharted, 25% MGS, and 25% (can't think of the other game, but I'm sure its exploratory). The MGS aspect alone gives it much more variety than Killzone, and I prefer games that allow more varied gameplay, than one trick pony's (like most FPS).
As far as graphics go I'm sure the game will look amazing, but surpassing Killzone 2 is a task for all developers...
Not bad. The football like commentary was a really good idea.
They should have shown more single player footage, because almost everything they showed looked like it came from one of the cinematics (the clips didn't look like in game they looked fake TO ME, but we all know the game is a beast).
We all expected this. Even though we wanted to believe it was coming out 2009 myself included we all knew deep down it was coming out 2010 and on March just like every other GOW.
DID you see it's release date. Feb. 27th. Killzone 2 comes out then too. That week is going to move a ton of PlayStation software and hardware in all regions. Killzone 2 for States and Europe, and Yakuza 3 for Japan.
OMG, I was just talking about this a few days ago. I don''t think Resident Evil should be more like Dead Space (which was a great game), but it does need more scary like Dead Space. Resident Evil is going the way the movie went less scary more action which isn't bad, but it's losing a lot of that need for survival element that the originals had.

They need to advertise this better. How many people go to dell.com to see what deals they have on PS3's. They need to let people know here's the best deal for buying a new PS3, and not just gaming sites where people more than likely already own one. Post this everywhere you can, just like we did when the 360 hit $199.99 good sales for all the systems mean longer console life, and better games for all of us.
I'm all for it. That way I won't have to buy both of their consoles every gen. I don't see any one console future ever happening, but I could see a 2 console future Playbox 360 and Wii 2 since they have different audiences, whereas the PS3 and 360 have the same audience and the only innovation comes from exclusives, and DLC.
People will argue less innovation, but that's not the case innovation doesn't come from the hardware, it comes from developers trying to one up one another...
