Perhaps it’s because im older and have been gaming since the atari 2600 felt like a great machine. Games are starting to feel stale to me, including this one. Im a few hours in and dont think its bad per se. However, its not grabbing me like I hoped it would. Just another game and just another $70 down the drain. It might be time to take a break. Idk…..
I restarted from scratch yesterday. I can understand why this might be more fun to play with friends. That being stated, im playing with a different mindset and its more enjoyable. Nothing seems to be off limits. No matter how stupid or dumb an ability may seem. It has a use or a place in the game. Instead of playing rigid, im going to just go with the flow and experiment
I got about 1/2 way through. I think???? I was kinda getting it. The freedom to do unorthodox things, to complete tasks, for example, accidentally casting a water spell, and it knocking enemies over. Im used to playing games, that have a certain way to play or certain items that guarantee you to become OP! Im sure BG3 has ways to do that, but for my 30hours of playing I constantly felt I was doing something wrong.
I tried so hard to like balders gate 3. Im not sure if the pace put me off or my misunderstanding on how to actually play the game. I felt like I was fighting against the systems the entire time. It’s something I will revisit. Perhaps online guides will help
I think they should have hid it until the end. Like after you beat mother brain for the first time and it’s revealed Samus is a woman!!! Then you scribble the 56 character password and sell it to your friends at school for a $1

I just want red dead redemption 2 updated to utilize the PS5’s SSD drive, and run in 60fps. Nothing against these remasters. I know Horizon is a Sony title. Why the F is it so hard for Rockstar to make that happen. I understand that question has nothing to do with this article. I keep seeing remasters and remakes and whatnot. Never for the games I want to see. Castlevania SOTN would be awesome with updated visuals…… rant over

Like red dead 2 before it. Gta 6 will have a finite amount of NPC’s. Supposedly different then gta 5 but similar to red dead 2. From what ive read, it’s possible to run into the same random NPC in different locations at different times. Not sure if that changes the way they do business this time around
It seems like were moving closer and closer to a time where there wont be gaming consoles anymore. I wonder in the future if Sony will just make a gaming PC and brand it as a PlayStation PC

It looks like a half baked cash grab to me. Another generic, FPS that should be a 3rd person game, which will probably take the best aspects of tomb raider, and uncharted then ruin it. Im still interested in it, but am very skeptical.
Some of the characters you pick up and the clue as to who they are can be a little cringy, but other then that, astrobot has been a really fun and refreshing type of game to play. A throwback to games of old with a new feel to it. A good change of pace from constant multiplayer shooters and bad open world games. Its the type of game that when you turn it on, everyone in the house, is interested in what it is. As opposed to putting on Helldivers and everyone leaves the room.
Ive been enjoying it. Its a little rough here and there, but for a stand alone quest 3 title, it proves that the little head set that could can deliver if its put into the right hands
