Own it on PC man and have since day 1. There were a lot of people interested in the game when it was announced for PS4. Suddendly the same people are against it. For obvious reasons and because people have given the game such a bad wrap. It's still on the top sellers list for Steam over a year later. I don't see how a game that sucks is on the top sellers list a year later.
It's hyped because they are releasing these type of games on consoles now. They never have ...
They make more money from offering it to more people on multiple systems. Since Sony doesn't own it. They can sell it anywhere they like. Which is what I would want if I were a developer and could pay my employees for the different ports.
@floody
Yeah you can still buy those care packages for like 6 cents in survival but it's so risky and teams will take it from you. I have 5 and never even used one. lol.
I never really understood the reasoning behind people calling it pay to win though. In BR you can't even call in those packages (that I know of) and guns and ammo are everywhere anyway.
They do have some crates you can earn in BR or buy for 10 cents. The keys cost ...
@slappy
So you don't know. OK just curious.
So many people willing to abandon the game now all the sudden. Interesting...
The game is a new way to play games IMO. Much like DayZ and any open world game. It's very social and it's very tense. In survival you don't know who to trust. In BR you better be ready at all times. Yes there are issues on PC where people have used scripts, but of all the games out with these problems. They have done huge strides to curb the script kiddies. In fact they announce anyone...
People have been saying that H1Z1 is pay to win for a long time, but I still do not understand how H1Z1 is pay to win. Can you please explain it to me?
I'm looking forward to playing because I don't just forget about games each gen. I continue to play them because they were and are great games.
@peas
It's unfortunate you can't be happy for someone else's excitement. Don't worry you have Digimon to play.
The semi cool thing in its current state is that if you win in Battle Royale you get rare stuff which you can then sell on the steam market. I have spent $3 to open a crate and sold the contents of said crate for over $5 dollars or more. Some items sell for over $100 off a $3 crate. Only on consoles they won't have this type of thing so... it's only a Steam perk.
Sony sold off their PC games divsion to get more money to put into Playstation. So they sold it to (what is now) Daybreak.
That has nothing to do with it. They sold it off to put more money into PS. Case closed.
I think this is a horrible idea.... Why on earth would you want to split them up? It's already hard to get people into the PVP survival sections. Granted a lot of people like to play the competitive Battle Royale type but there are tons of people who still enjoy role playing, crafting and survival pvp.
Seems like a way to monetize the Battle Royale section IMO. I understand why but it feels like they are essentially going to kill off the players who still enjoy the survi...
The Dreamcast still is one of my favorite consoles of all time. I even like the Turbografx 16 a lot. That was when consoles still prodominantely made games for their systems. The Dreamcast was the first console I saved up to preorder and it lived up to the hype IMO. It launched with so many 1st party games off the bat.
Sucks that Peter Moore killed it because he was so worried about competing with PS. Makes me think there was a lot more going on behind the scenes with Sega t...
@foxtrot
This entire gen you have been bringing up xbox in a negative light in almost every comment. Why would you be surprised when someone else feels this way about you?
OT: This sentence makes a lot of sense.
"Sega would honestly need to stay quiet for a few years, make some high quality first party game titles and then release the games with those launch games.."
The rest seems like the typical foxtrot stuff sl...
Nor is fanboying.
I don't play fighting games that much but MK and KI. The characters in KI seem very well balanced and completely diferent from one another. The juggling really does the most unique addition to a fighting game. They have counters and counter counters on top of that. Plus they have oodles of characters present and coming. I have played a lot of the fi SF series and its been fun but since playing I have grown further away from the series. Although part 5 looks good.
"Vast" would be 480p vs 1080p. That is a difference "of very great extent or quantity; immense"
I believe the word you are looking for is Hyperbole.
It's probably more so because you tend to be very negative and anti xbox in almost every article. Regardless of the type of article. So people expect more of the same from you always. No offense but I usually tend to skip over your comments because of this.
@chris
They're making it work the best they can. Like you said fanboys are the only reason they care because 96% of them wouldn't even be able to tell the difference. That's why most people get so excited and overwhelmed with joy on the DF reports. While I think it's good that DF pushes these developers and companies it shouldnt take a team of people to decipher the difference for such a exclaimed stark difference the comments in these articles ignite.

Neither should have these issues as much. It's not about poor Sony is getting picked on. As if Xbox doesn't get the same amount of articles about down time. Plus it's pretty hip to knock on xbox anything these days. It would be pretty biased if they didn't cover both outages. Plus when I've been in an outage and it typically has taken a lot longer for PS to recoup from it. Might be because they have trippled their online performance and servers this gen.

It's more like the developer wanted to sell more. Thats the advantage of selling it on multiple platforms. The game was coming to PS before xbox. Was sony void of accepting MT suddenly?
