They're Cleary not going anywhere. If we start running out of choices for consoles. Like Nintendo closing up shop or Xbox packing it in. Then we might need to worry. Which is why people should be OK with more than one choice of console. If you like consoles.
I think consoles are just going to have to do something modular at some point. At least make it easier to upgrade.
Xbox one isn't perfect nor is my PS4. I do get irritated with the controller disconnecting from my headset and the party chat drops. Other than that.. I don't have much to complain about.

I know full well about all that. It's taking whatever frame rate "minimum of 60fps" and doubling the frames on top of themselves. Which makes me worry if it will be Blurry. So it's safe to be a little skeptical. Regardless of who tells us it's OK.

I think it's OK to be skeptical. I mean have you tried any of the competing headsets? Most havent. I like the games list but I'm not 100% sure about VR and how the frame rate will be.
While I think it's good to have competition so that each company puts up a good fight to grow VR..., Im also not looking forward to the comments sections everywhere online. Thats If VR actually blows up fully and is adopted like console gaming does. Not sure it's ready yet. Time will tell.
It's not just an xbox problem but that won't stop people from jumping all over it in the comment section. People who game on expensive rigs can't run it well. Why would they think it could run better on less hardware? It would be the same for any console not just the xb1.
In all fairness. It takes money to make a game. Especially if it's not a huge published game. So perhaps they are trying to get it done sooner?
When the game launched on PC. My Gtx 770 was pulling the same numbers on the console just about with severe rubber banding and frame drops. I never thought they would even be able to pull off this game on consoles to begin with. IMO they have done a great job. Better than I ever thought it would be. Especially with a real time open world physics game that never stops and is always online. Kind of a first. Is there any other game to compare it to online? Everquest? Idk if that even counts. <...

Good thing 720p is a rarity. Also most games are using more power than last gen. So its a little different. Either way people are gonna play where their friends play. The res difference isn't as stark as people make it seem. It really boils down to what system you enjoy using with the friends that tend to play the games you play. So let's not drag yet another console war debate into yet another article. It's not like we haven't talked about this ever...
Picking up on Xbox one and PC. Hard to split up friends on all platforms but until they offer crossplay for purchases I will only pick 1 or maybe 2.
Because the most up to date one is finally coming out and I'm sure a lot of people bought both and are selling off the old dev kits to cover it.

Like I said In the video they said it like it was matter of fact to be 1080p 30fps. I am just curious. If you aren't sure or it hasn't been confirmed than its your guess. That's it. I certainly feel like it will be 900p but we cant say because it's not confirmed yet. ALPHAS and Betas are not exactly perfect. Perfect example Destiny.

The game in general regardless of platform is a CPU GPU hog. Its to be expected from a huge open world game like this with a lOT goin on. There is a lot of AI going on in the game. Lots of destructable objects as well. Physics in this game is huge and that shows the impact on its frames and resolution. I doubt we will see 1080p 60fps on either console. I'm a bit surprised it works on console to begin with.
Games are a large part of why people enjoy games but if your friends don't game on that platform whats the ppint of gamino online? To me I have a lot of life long friends that I have met on Xbox. People I could not just simply write off and start playing elsewhere.
I own all consoles and PC but honestly I plaY on my xbox more than PS4. It's not because of the lack of games, popukarity, resolution or JRPGs. It's because xbox feels like a living breathing online gam...
