Well it's entirely possible that they were getting large amounts of advertising money from MS on their website. Perhaps Machinima wanted to keep that ad money coming in by padding their own numbers and showing results to get more ad revenue?

People havd been saying for years now that they are still able to enjoy their games on sub 1080p and sub specs. Perhaps people should have listened and stopped shoving specs in other peoples faces if they don't like to hear it now.
Let's not forget this entire Gen we have been comparing specs of numerous games and devices. It's not going to suddenly change because there are new players involved. Just like sales following and reposting isn't going to stop eit...

I mean one could argue that it's important to keep track and report numbers. However, it may be a little better to just say hardware and disc sales of gaming in Japan this month. Instead of making the low Xbox sales top priority of the title. Although I doubt anyone would go to the article.

MS is in a state of perpetual "damned if you do, Damned if you don't" by the gaming community. I think some people think if they (the community) keeps repeating something ad nauseam it will make wishes come true. There is nothing but heartache that will come from that.
They have only been bombarded with hundreds of opinion piece articles, twitter posts and comments from everyone across the internet for the past few weeks. Ever since they mentioned they want to support PC and expand on it. The entire internet was shouting they were leaving the console space. So yeah. They probably will correct people on that. They tend to do things like that when people assume far too much.

Before I jump into any vr I am going to try them first. I want to know what I'm spending my money on. To pick which is right for me. There's no doubt Sony is making the affordable VR but until it's been out for awhile I'm not blindly jumping in.
Essentially they picked the most console war fought over titles this gen and put them into 6 pages to fight over.

Well... in all fairness COD is one of the biggest FPS games made and the last 2 COD games tried to mimic Titanfalls game play after it released. Wall running and mantling was never a thing in COD but after Titanfall released its like they tried to rip everything from it. Suddenly you could jump through the air, climb buildings and wall run in the franchise.

I think it's a good idea, but I think people need to be aware that there will probably be problems. It's a beta and for some that may frustrate people. So as long as they remember that it's a beta and not always going to be smooth sailing it should be good. I'm not signing up with the beta on my PS4. I get irritated with it on the Xbox version.
Whether he is wrong or right. I am pretty sure it's safe to say NX should be backwards compatible. It needs to allow you to play Wii U games fully at the very least or there will be a lot of people dissapointed. I know I would be with such a short gen. Especially if you are one of the few who actually bought and enjoy a Wii U.

Uh... it kills 2 birds with 1 stone. They were already going to try and hire some of the affected from lionhead. Plus it also helps show they are nice guys. Not saying it's wrong. It's nice and genius. Goes to show you that Lionhead will be ok.
I'm sure Sony will hold job fairs for each of the affected studios that MS dropped.
I'm not sold on VR yet but definitely interested. One thing I like about the vive though is that it works with you existing library of games. So it's open platform. That's huge considering I own hundreds of games on steam. Not having to re purchase them on competing VR platforms is much more appealing.
I still want to try them all before I commit.
