Its true. BR Players were like 700 bucks or higher. The PS3 was the cheapest way to buy a Blu Ray player a year or so later at $500. Don't mind these guys though. They are turning it into a Sony vs the world situation.

I hope that the PSVR is a pleasant experience but keep in mind it's not going to be on par quality wise with Occulus or vive. We are talking 1080P screens (PSVR) vs 4k screens.
PSVR is getting good feedback but to compare it to these seems off.
From what I have heard from a few people recently who have tried the 2 new headsets. VIVE beats Occulus hands down. They even tried the final version sets too.
Quality is going to play a large factor in your overall VR experience. Plus if you already have a lot of games on Steam having an open platform means you won't have to rebuy games you already own. Apparently VIVE doesn't make its games proprietary which is awesome. Occulus does.

I wasnt debating whether you could roll it back. Nor am I throwing any negativity towards the beta. Its cool they are doing it. I've just not been a big fan of the Xbox preview program even with its perks. It's OK to be aware and maybe cautious because of my own experiences. Especially if by chance you might have to reinstall everything. It just might not be that simple.
I will be leaving my ps4 alone to run it normal.
Not defending anyone here but the MS xbox preview program is very frustrating sometimes. So perhaps a little caution isn't such a bad thing.
With these type of programs you are subjecting yourself to numerous problems and some patches are worse than others. Only problem is you are stuck with them till the next patch. I have high hopes for this if it is GoW.. I really enjoyed part 3 a lot. Hopefully they found a good story to make.

I'm sure that's not the case. I game everywhere but there are fanboys all over the net for each platform. That means there are a lot of gamers unwilling to spread their gaming experience elsewhere. If it was popular to game everywhere then there would be a lot less fanboying right?

I think he is reacting to the fact that every PS only fan uses that as ammo for console wars constantly. It's not just you it's anyone wanting to pull some shade over the xbox. You might be new here so I'm just letting you know.

Me too. I also want to try both the Occulus and Vive.
Something I think people are just assuming is that all these VR headsets will perform equally and the only difference is the price. Which cant be true. If both Vive and Occulus need semi high end rigs to run it. Then that makes me wonder about PSVR quality. It's an honest concern but nobody will agree with me.
VR may just need some time to develop and grow. It may be best to wait for all of them.

If Xbox sold 1 less console than PS4 it would be considered a failure. Apparently xbox is closing up shop if it sells millions of anything.

I mean that's a fair statement but it's new to consoles so I don't think it's dead. Their is only a few console games of this type. A whole group of people who haven't experienced it. I still enjoy these kind of games online.

Just be thankful everyone has the opportunity to play the game on 2 platforms. One of the few fighting games I enjoy playing.
