It's never going to be what anyone expects. That ship has sailed. It would have done well years ago but now... Nope. I enjoy Halo but it's not the same anymore. Execs missed the boat when it could have actually done well.

Uh. I think anyone who enjoys the game can say they like it. There are no rules to this. Besides you should be happy others think the game is good. Kids need to feel like they belong to something bigger than them. Even though the companies they stand up for have ripped people off numerous times before. It's a tribal thing these days. That's wayyy more consumer friendly than a NEW console with completely different games we can't back compat with. These mid gens on both systems are proof that we are probably a further ways off than a couple years. Once the switch has 6 or more games I want to play. It'll have to wait. I just can't justify the cost yet. I do want to play the new Mario for sure.

Pretty sure that "Damage Control" has flipped the other way now in a lot of these comments and articles. This entire article is downplaying. So are many others.
Contrary to your belief some people actually bought a ps4 because it was the most powerful. So.. the majority of gamers don't ONLY buy exclusives. I'm turning my PS4 into an exclusives only machine. I will be playing all my 3rd party and MS games on Xbox X and PC. I suspect most who don't have a PC will probably do the same. It's an option regardless of sales.
They are just churning the fanboy butter. It's all most of these sites care about. It's not about games it's about clicks.
