So by subbing to gamepass you are just "renting" the games for 6 months as opposed to owning them for life.

The choice is yours. Me personally, i am subbing to gamepass as it is more beneficial for me, but if i want to own a game i will just buy it using the gamepass discount.

"It’ll be interesting to see what we get from MS 1st party this time around considering they’ll all be included in game pass"

All microsoft 1st party have been on gamepass since around January 2018

@Flavor

Indie filler lmao, you do realise there are around 200+ games on game pass right? (253 as of time of writing - console only, not including PC) (Nier - automata was recently added)

There are plenty of AA, AAA games available out of the 253, a few indie additions is not even a grain of sand on the beach.

Why wouldn't they?

Just like how Activision expects its players to have played the previous game ala COD.

All digital weren't they?

Edit : looks like the physical did not end up getting delayed, i thought they had delayed the physical at least in Europe, so thought these were all digital.

@foxtrot

Seeing as PS5 and Series X will be backwards compatible, not really. Won't hold the game back, if they want to do a bump up patch for PS5 and series X they are more than welcome to.

@Drake

Even if the console is online on Series X, you will still get the 4k resolution.

Sony's decision to skip E3 was announced well before the pandemic, Microsoft's decision is purely down to the pandemic.

"In light of the challenges presented by Covid-19, we are adjusting our event calendar and strategy," said a Microsoft spokesperson.

Right there in the bread and butter.

@Peas

I never implied, that you implied anything.

Your original comment did nothing to point out how silly criticism of a controller was, also having nothing to do with the title you refer to, you stated :-

"So i guess the xbox controller look like the original ps1 "dualshock" since it got shoulder buttons and triggers, two joysticks, rumble feature, so where's the criticism for that?"

So i poi...

I never said you did, and this was not a reply to your comment.

I said "people" not "Peasfor"

I do not need to re-read anything.

What would be the uses for a Microphone on a controller, when 9/10 gamers will have a headset on?

Not criticizing, just asking a question.

On topic, does the white controller allude to the PS5 being white/partially white? Would be odd to have a white controller against a black console, unless this is a separate pad to the default one.

It is easier than hitting the guide button, and then pressing X to record a clip, or Y for a screenshot.

I welcome the share button.

Exactly, Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive) had bumper buttons, along with SNES, N64 among others.

People like to think Sony "created" bumper buttons and analog sticks on controllers, it is highly amusing.

@peasfor

I think the similarities are mainly the curvature of each end of the controller, as opposed to what "features" each controller has.

The PS1 controller did not have triggers. it had 4 shoulder buttons L1 L2, R1 R2.

So by your logic, sony copied the bumper buttons off of SNES and N64 right?

And wasn't it Microsoft with the "duke" controller for the original xbox, that added triggers to ...
