@russo,

It can not be a copy, if the 2 are different, is that what it has come to, saying a company has copied 1 letter from another.

It is basically the same exclusivity deal Microsoft binned off to invest in their own studios.

Funny, i am sure this gen, all we heard in relation to games was :-

"Let's wait for Digital Foundry comparisons"

Now they are untrustworthy?

"The PS5's SSD is next gen tech!! It is going to change the way developers develop games!! We are going to see a revolution!!"

"Quantum error is available on the PS4"

Wait... what? So are they releasing 2 different games? How is the PS4 going to process this "Next gen tech"?

Or does that mean the only improvements over the PS4 version is higher frames and resolution?

Big PS4 games you have been waiting for for years you mean? and will probably be delayed again?

TLOU2?

The difference is, xbox one games that are released will be playable on the series X, can not say the same for Sony, who have only announced a percentage.

Not saying they need to follow the same strategy as the competition, but usually you do not just show a controller, you show the console as well.

So.... why are you here, commenting on a game you have no interest in?

@Flavor

"On the other hand I do have 2 computers capable of playing EVERYTHING the series X will"

So will i, the Series X and an xbox one.

@Oldboy

That is why i said "Microsoft exclusive"

Can you play it on PS4?

And this old comment about being on PC, Sony exclusives are playable on PC via PSNOW.

Hellblade 2 is launching a few months after series X launch possibly early 2021/Dec 2020.

How many times, xbox series X is not going to have ANY exclusives, i do not know how hard it is for people to grasp. The comment made about &qu...

Neither did Microsoft with the xbox one,

We still know what the series X looks like, just saying.

Halo infinite is a launch title - Microsoft exclusive
Hellblade 2 will be launched slightly after - Microsoft exclusive

bet you feel silly now.

@Prince

"its wild to me how many people come on here and talk this game up when they aren't even simulation gamers and will not be playing this game for any real amount of time."

Nice of you to include a statement about yourself.

What does that have to do with PS5/Series X?

In 2013, both showed their consoles at the same time like you said, so what is different this gen?

Unfinished design status? Final changes?

2256d ago 3 agree7 disagreeView comment

They have already talked about the specs, i do not know why Sony are holding off on showing the design of the console.

What is there to lose

2256d ago 1 agree7 disagreeView comment

I'm a console gamer mainly, but even i am not under the illusion that SSD's are going to "revolutionise consoles"

They have been a thing for years.

2257d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course it will "change the way games are made"

Developers for the series X/PS5 will not need to factor in load screens/segments etc when they want to load new assets.

You do know SSD is not a "new" thing right?

2257d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

From Cerny himself

"In particular, Cerny said that the new SSD in the PS5 won’t just make it so you never have to wait at a blank screen again; that’s a given because of the architecture of SSD compared to hard disk drives that allow an SSD to seek and pull data on the drive almost instantaneously. Going further, Cerny added, the SSD will completely change how developers think about a game is created.

“The primary reason for an ultra-fast SSD is that...

lol at the disagrees

"Does SSD speed up gaming?
If you want to improve ANY laptop or desktop, add an SSD. An SSD massively reduces load and boot up timing, while also loading apps and games a lot faster than regular Hard disks. ... However, an SSD DOES NOT improve FPS while gaming. If you are looking to improve in-game FPS, you should buy a new Graphics Card"

Sony fans can not handle the truth

A faster SSD

"Next-Gen Tech!!!"

These Sony fans are in for a surprise. SSD's have been available for years. The performance of an SSD relies on the system as a whole, not just having a fast SSD in a system.

The hard drive will be able to compress/decompress the data faster, but then it is down to the CPU/GPU to process that data. Adding a faster hard drive, will not make a GPU/CPU process at a faster speed, they have their...

You can not get microsoft points anymore, not since 2013.

But i agree, characters in games, costumes, skins, should be free of charge or have an in-game currency you earn to purchase, not real money.

Game-add ons, like expansions (like back in the day) they should charge for by all means. The reason we no longer see game expansions nowadays, is developers can make easy cash by pumping out a few skins or weapons they have created in 5 minutes and charge fo...
