The One S does not have an SSD, so why keep that on the market?

The One X is more equipped to transition to next-gen than the One S. This is simply about branding, and the lockhart replacing the one x.

The One S does not have an SSD, and is weaker than the One X, so your comment is incorrect.

This is simply a business move, to avoid confusion at launch, between the One X and the Series X.

The rumoured Lockhart will be your entry level into the next-gen.

@Flavor

Lockhart will replace the One X, and the branding will create confusion between One X/Series X.

It is that simple, what do you not get?

@Coconuts

You are not making much sense,

1 - Publishers will still optimise for it, smart delivery automatically does this. You play the best version of the game on the console you are playing.

2 - Why would owners be "bummed out" about a console they already own?

3 - The rumoured Lockhart will most probably replace the One X as the middle console and to avoid consumer confusion between the One X and the Ser...

This kinda makes sense, this points even more to a "lockhart" console more powerful than the xbox one X. Also to clear store shelves to avoid any confusion between One X and Series X. So we will have 3 levels :-

Beginner - Xbox one S
Intermediate - Rumoured Lockhart
Professional - Xbox Series X

The medium does look really good, and also Scorn. Medium has that silent hill vibe to it.

I doubt any game on Xbox Series X or PS5 will be 1080p, bare minimum these consoles should be able to push out is 1440p.

Why you still get the game?

UE4.25 is the engine developers are using to create games that will use UE5.

The code etc will transfer directly to UE5. This is stated clearly on Epic's description and information about UE5 on their website. And i quote :

"Unreal Engine 4.25 already supports next-generation console platforms from Sony and Microsoft, and Epic is working closely with console manufacturers and dozens of game developers and publishers using Unreal Engine 4 to build...

If it takes you 2 days to install 90gb, you need a better drive/pc

I can not see how anyone can be surprised at this.

The majority of PC's still have DVD drives, so its common sense to still have the game on DVD.

No, Hellblade 2 was confirmed shortly after UE5 tech reveal, that it is built using UE5, and also using the tech shown in the UE5 demo.

Most probably down to NDA, and they could not announce features before Epic themselves.

haptic feedback is tension in the triggers, xbox one do not currently have this, series X might though.

@Imortus_san

SSD's do not work off RPM, they have no moving parts.
