Why would they not puff their chest about the hardware, its a good built console, same as the PS5 is.
@djplonker
Microsoft's holiday is November, so expect Halo and Series X November 2020
"And is "representative" of the Xbox Series X version"
You can not break a promise that was never made.
The games that do not say xbox one, will release in 2022. Not hard to grasp.
No one is forcing anyone to upgrade, Sony or Microsoft.
I wasn't trying to make a case, just stating facts.
They have not stated all games will play on BOTH consoles at all, that is made up fud. Hence why they specifically reference Halo Infinite. You know as well as everyone else, they never promised to release all 1st party on both consoles for the next 2 years.
Have a look at this, 9 games out of 22 shown have no release date, th...
"We won’t force you to upgrade to Xbox Series X at launch to play Xbox exclusives.”
I rest my case "at launch"
"That’s why Xbox Game Studios titles we release in the next couple of years—like Halo Infinite—will be available and play great on Xbox Series X and Xbox One."
Again, lets take it out of context like everyone is doing.
The true meaning, games they release in the next couple of years,...
2021 you mean, which games are slated for a 2022 launch?
Not really,
Some interesting looking games, some unnanounced, most running at 4K 60fps.
What more could they show?
We still have not seen what the other 6 studios are working on.
Not only that, none of the games shown will cost me a penny as they are all coming to gamepass day one. Even Destiny 2 with all the DLC
@Rude-ro
Halo Infinite gameplay was CGI? What?
The thing is, they did not even say what these articles are saying they said.
Matt said in January, over the next 12 months (minimum) games will play across the family of devices.
So any game after Jan 2021 release has made good on their promise.
@Stoney
It is not the case, we will have series x only games in 2021, bookmark this comment.
@crazy
No, no they did not. That is a lie, they said over the next year, two years.
A year is 12 months, we are 6 months now after Matt made the comment.
I have been saying all along, Microsoft did not promise all first party titles are coming to xbox one. Not one promise has been broken, and this article is pure fanboy clickbait. They (Matt booty) said the following :-
"As our content comes out over the next year, two years, all of our games, sort of like PC, will play up and down that family of devices,” Booty explains. “We want to make sure that if someone invests in Xbox between now and [Series X] that they feel tha...
and some Yakuza games
Not long now Ultra, tune in!!!
@leejohnson222
Don't be angry, demand the same from your plastic manufacturer.
The majority are not mediocre, go check out the list. The likes of Fallout 76, soul caliber VI, Blair Witch, DAYZ, no man's sky, Metro 2033/last light, Wolfenstein youngblood to name a few.
Add ALL xbox first party games on top of that, and yeah well worth the money!!!!

I know, parting with £2 a week to play over 250 games is really hitting my wallet hard.
I spend more than that per day on lunch.
"I don’t think M$ can afford to stop Valve from exclusively selling their most anticipated game ever"
Why would they not? They have no intention of making half-life 3, they could sell the IP for billions like Mojang, and Microsoft purchasing 1 IP is like a weeks wages for bill.
@Midget
Why couldn't it be a console launch? Who's to say Microsoft have not paid valve billions for the IP?
Why couldn't it launch on Windows 10 and Series X at the same time?
Half-life 3 on console (The orange box is already there) would be the one game announced to shock everyone, hence the article title "Dream Line-Up That Would Shock"
And you have the brass to call anyone an idiot lmao.
@Gamer
You are correct, i guess everyone who did not watch the show missed the part where they said they have things to show in august and september.
