""Dreamhouse: The Game is one of the first games using Unreal Engine 5, first screenshots"
And it is one of the first games to be shown to be using UE5?
The article claims :-
"DeSand Game Studios has announced that Dreamhouse: The Game will be using Unreal Engine 5"
Note the "will be" and not "is currently"
No debate needed.
You can also claim "my project will be using UE5" you are not making a false claim, even though you are using UE4 with 5 toolsets to develop.
So whatever it is your developing, will be using UE5 once you transfer your project right?
So using UE4.25, you are still essentially developing with UE5 in mind, otherwise you would just be using UE4 with current tools correct?
Please note, the reviewer is reviewing Bright Memory (released 2019), not Bright Memory Infinite as showcased at the Series X event.
"However, after finally playing a verticle slice of the adventure, I wish I would have waited until Bright Memory: Infinite."
"As always MS is a tech follower"
Yes, because they are a software company. Console & controller technology is not their forte.
That is why Sony had a hand in Minidisk, Blu-ray etc as they are primarily a hardware company.
Phil has applauded Sony a few times, always praises the console launches etc.
To be honest, i do not think Microsoft can copy the tech, haven't Sony patented the dualsense tech? I mean granted they can do it a different way to get similar results to avoid copyright claims etc. But i just can not see Microsoft wanting to invest in the relevant R&D.
They still have not released a VR headset, so i do not see them releasing a copy of the dualsense.
That comment had literally no association to what i said.
Looking at the trello board for known bugs, there is literally no mention of console crashes in the known global issues.

Microsoft stated years and years ago you can change any xbox one into a so called "dev kit" to promote indie/startup/wannabe developers, and give you a chance at developing.

You can then use this to publish your creation (as per section 5 of the instr...
@abstractel
UE5 supports last generation consoles PS4 and Xbox One, as well as android and ioS.
So i think Series S can definitely handle UE5
Developers are using tools to develop now, UE4.25 (UE4 with UE5 dev options).
This will then directly port over to Unreal Engine 5, chances are there are a lot of games being developed with UE5 in mind.
Directly from Unreal :-
"Unreal Engine 4.25 already supports next-generation console platforms from Sony and Microsoft, and Epic is working closely with console manufacturers and dozens of game developers and publishers using Unreal...

Edit : Then again, i just re-watched the trailer and looks like it has been pushed to Jan 2021... arrrrghh!!!!
Still does not defeat the point that you do not pay for games with gold like you stated :-
"I'm actually still paying for this shit"
And if i were you, i would go with gamepass Ultimate, cheaper than paying for gold and gamepass seperately, and you get all the "perks" thrown in.
Refreshing to see, games with gold news and comments full of Sony fanboys bashing away.
Another day at the office.
No you pay to play online, don't know why you would pay just for the free games each month.
That makes no sense
I won't be forced, i have had a gamepass subscription since its inception.
Gamepass Ultimate is cheaper and you get everything included.
P.s. 12 month gold subs are still available

Or you do not buy games you wait to get them for free?
You could apply the "2 different products" analogy to the PS5 as well Sully.
Both released a digital version.
Both released a cheaper version.
1 is just less power, but essentially, both options from both manufacturers are targetting the same audience.
But let me guess, you are not going to split the PS5 vs PS5 DE sales figures are you?
Either way, the new consoles S & X combined, have outsold the xbox o...
