Even if they do release quality content over the next 12 months, you know as well as i do Eonjay, that the people that peruse this site, will label it as "not as good as Sony", even if it wins multiple GOTY awards, it will be "mediocre", and even it gets a 99 on metacritic, and is one of the best games ever launched, it will be labelled "uninnovative"

I was simply saying from a personal standpoint, that rather than downgrading games to match another rivals platform, i would prefer the game dip a few frames, as opposed to trying to "match" frames, if the results show higher draw distances and better graphics.

People that have no concern for their finances, will pay whatever the going rate to please their kids, or their own habit. The average consumer (like me) would just wait and pay the RRP.

Oh right, just seems odd how the patch mentioned in the article is coming launch day for both PS5 and Xbox Series S/X.
But yet no mention of PS5 in the title or tags, alluding to it being some kind of patch only for the Series S/X.
Why boycott? That is how they run their business, they are a preowned store, they can buy for whatever price they want, in this case £200 over the asking price, and sell for what they want.
This is not isolated to the PS5, this is how CEX operates as a business, they bought the PS5's off customers for £650 - £200 over the asking price, so they add their profit on to that £815.
Series X they buy for £550 - £100 over the asking price, and sell for £650. £165 less than the PS5.
The PS5 is marked up higher, as it is the more popular item.

lol exactly, as long as the game looks and plays well, on whichever platform, it's all good.
Even i haven't chimed in with power difference between the 2, they are both great built machines and both have their pro's and con's (I'm looking at you Phil, i want some games, ala flight simulator and age of empires on my beloved black fridge)

Exactly Razzer, i would rather a game dip a few frames here and there and be a slightly lower resolution, if it results in greater draw distance and better graphics.
There is more or less parity between the 2 versions, any differences will only be noticed with a frame by frame graphical comparison, which quite frankly, i'm not going to do that while playing a game.

I can not recall hearing that, but whoever said it is an idiot. The Series S is has a lower CPU/GPU than the Series X, so no way it has a better CPU than the PS5.
