If consoles become upgradeable, then it is no longer a console, it is a PC.
If you game on PC, more than likely you have a PC capable of enjoying the new features
@Einhander1971
"Rubbish you can only upgrade so far. If PCs where that upgradable your old 486 from."
Start by upgrading the motherboard. All components within a PC are upgradable.
Motherboards are about £50-100.
@mikeslemonade
"PS5 and Series X closed the gaps. When Digital Foundry shows that the console is matching a RTX 2080"
And then the Nvidia RTX 3070/3080 was showcased.
Yes, in 6-12 months, PC architecture will once again blow the current set of consoles away.
The consoles can not be upgraded CPU/GPU wise, so it is only a matter of time/if already, PC's will be ahead.
To be honest it is absolutely pointless comparing the 2 platforms.
Not really, just like Mass Effect :-
360 release - 2007
PS3 release - 2012
That is more of a long time.
I'm sure xbox gamers can wait. we will have plenty to play over the next 2 years.
How very dare you state facts on here!! /s
In leymans terms :-
PS5 controller - vibrates and has tension in the triggers. (Haptic and force feedback)
Xbox One/S/X controller - vibrates, and has seperate haptics in the triggers. (haptic feedback (MS named Impulse triggers))
Hope that clears up the confusion/debate.
I remember the good old days of owning a force feedback steering wheel for the xbox 360, would ...
"I found MS version of it to be annoying."
Microsoft "version" was not utilised.
"In NBA2k the triggers vibrated as the ball was being dribbled."
Disable rumble maybe?
@Eamon
"It was obviously designed to be an Xbox One game."
Maybe because it is also on Xbox One? Development would have started for Xbox One, so yeah it is not designed for the Series S/X from the ground up, so people should stop expecting miracles.
I am not under the illusion that Halo Infinite is going to be the flagship showcase for the power of the new consoles, that will come from games solely on the Series of consoles, f...
But they can't stop banging on about it though can they?
It seems like they are more concerned about the length of the delay than the xbox/halo fanbase
Are you counting Playstation games available on PC in your tally chart? Or do they not matter because they are on PSNOW?
So Horizon zero dawn is not an exclusive?
Lets also ignore this

and focus on just Microsoft 1st party being on PC

"The world seem static. No life."
You do realise it is set on a mechanical ring built by the forerunners right? not an actual planet. And i may be incorrect, but pretty sure there was wildlife in the trailer?
Then again you won't.
Again, they have not got masses of work to do on the game, the blueprint is set, the campaign finished, just needs polish. (polish means work on assets etc, ironing out bugs)

I have to agree, Microsoft definitely needs more 1st party games.
I still go back to the Halo 3 multiplayer, not really played much of 5 multiplayer. Halo 5 campaign lost a lot of the Halo touch IMO, they need to go back to the 1-3 days. Really hoping they deliver a decent campaign for Infinite as the Halo universe is so vast (fingers and toes crossed).
Fanboys just annoy me with their constant disdain for the competition from all sides. Me i'm a game...
""its battery cover clips have been unnecessarily adjusted inwards–a design change that renders all previous play-and-charge kits unusable."
Different USB port so..... unless you wanted to chop the end of your xbox one play and charge kit and put a new USB-C connector on.
And you do not need the new battery, just the cable.

I can not compare to Sony 1st party, nor even could i if i tried. (I have not played any so to compare would be hypocritical)
What first person shooter would i compare Halo Infinite to? Most of the people commenting have most probably never played Halo, nor do they care for Microsoft 1st party, they just comment for the agrees in a nonsensical fanboy way.
You can tell this by the heat the microsoft articles get, compared to t...
You can not get it on Playstation so no, no hype there.
On xbox, the hype is always there for the Halo fanbase.
Does not take a year to adjust intro's the gameplay elements looked fine, it was just the intro shown where all the piles of stuff started hitting the fan.
Yes surferz, there is only the odd one we do not know much about. Regardless of details, it is 20 games on the Series X, and that is the debate here, whether the Series X has games.
And the answer is, (as much as people hate the thought of admitting) yes, it does have games.
One that is not on Playstation
A Playstation exclusive is one that is not on xbox.
It's not hard.
funniest. advert. ever.
Please have this as an official advert lol
