I think the true sales for both PS5 and Series X are a lot higher than these "charts" are predicting.

Every time a new one appears, the data conflicts with the last. The Sun newspaper reported 900,000 PS5 sales in November, but this chart is claiming 900,000 consoles across PS5, Series X and Switch.

Why is there no breakdown of actual sales figures? I suppose we will have to wait for the trusted VGChartz data.

Some more misleading data i think in this article :-

Medal of honor above and beyond is an Oculus Rift exclusive. I think the audience for that title will be very small.

There is if you have the controller. The grips on the back create extra grip for those sweatband moments playing fifa or COD.

The new controller "feels" like an improvement over the xbox one pad, which it is. There does not need to be anything special about it, it just needs to work as advertised.

If the author is getting pain in his hands while gaming, i would suggest a doctor check for arthritis.

RSI is not really common when using gaming pads.

Series X controller feels fine to me, slightly smaller but the grips on the back of the controller and the triggers create good grip.

Got to admit, i have never had sore hands when gaming, and i game at least 4-5 hours a day, every day.

No updated console is a disappointment to gaming, all companies play off each other to make their own hardware better. Without Sony, Microsoft would not strive to make the most powerful console every iteration, without Microsoft, Sony would not feel the need to innovate, without either, game developers would not feel the need to research new game engines, better assetts.

The figures do not add up. As of 21st November (9 days of sales) they only put the PS5 on 2.4 million worldwide sales, it was 2.5 million after 2 days up till Nov 14th.

I think these numbers are flat out incorrect. I think it is more akin to 3 - 3.5 million worldwide.

No way the PS5 has only sold 1 million consoles worldwide between Nov 15-21

The PS5 sold 2.5 million at launch (2 days), but now a week later is only at 2.4 million worldwide after adding 1 million european and ROW sales...

Not got gamepass Ultimate as of yet (going to upgrade my PC a touch first), Cyberpunk 2077 is definately pre-ordered, and the Medium is already pre-ordered through gamepass for ziltch.

It's ok if you feel the need to try and poke fun/downplay/assault the competition, that is your prerogative, just makes you come across a touch insecure about your purchase, so much so you are trying to convince yourself you made the right choice.

Both consoles run at 4K - 30fps, Series X isn't running at 1188p and the S is not running at 720p

Most probably

4K 120fps on Series X
1440p 120fps on Series S

Can't see a trivia game pushing either console, so expect the game to be max on both in terms of resolution and framerate.

1 vs 100 was so good to play, me and my friends had a blast and so much fun.

Was like a proper game show with chances to win prizes and stuff (mainly microsoft points) but still good to compete in.

Sales stats are not determined by specs, but by the generation itself, Series S and X are the same generation, therefore both sales should be counted. If Microsoft want to split them as seperate sales, or combine them as a total is ...
