Looks cool, but no way in hell would I do this at work. They would have to pay me extra to stand up doing that manual labor instead of sitting at my desk with a keyboard & mouse.
GT5 is preventing from replacing my dead battery on my real Corvette....so I guess it is saving me from driving too fast.
You sound like you don't even get the concept of this game.
First series in expert I meant. I have not raced any extreme races yet, because I looked at those & realize I need some better vehicles to compete.
Don't repair chassis! It is a rip off. Drive the cars until they don't seem to work at all before repairing. Oil changes after races is worth a few hundred bucks, because it restores horsepower.
Seriously though - I am at level 21 in expert series, and have never purchased a chassis repair. All my cars run fine. And I am not always gentle with them in races.
Sounds like a game they haven't really defined or created. Gotta love rumors.
The championship in pro nets about 180k - five races in a row. (Need a good race car)
the first series in extreme nets similar money, and is easier than the pro championship.
17k is chump change, and not worth repeating a boring race for IMHO.
I did it with my trycicle
This dude is like gum stuck on the shoes of the gaming world. Can't we just scrape off the patcher, and keep on walking?
I have had to download about 25 games after my first PS3 died. It sucked. On rare occasions where a game is on disc & DLC, I will drive to the store & buy the disc everytime. Not having the installation disc or file on some backup media of any software is lame, whether that is games or any other program.
And those that think the big time brick & morter retailers don't have very strong influence in having software on physical media in their stores, are not l...
Download? I can still buy a game on disc at the store in about 30 minutes, including drive time. I can then let other friends borrow that disc after I have finished playing. If my system ever hoses, I still have the disc, and do not need to download again to get my game back. I can later re-sell that disc for a few bucks when I don't want it anymore.
Unless you don't have a store remotely near you, what was the benefits of digital copy only again?
If they are making it for me as a die hard TM fan, then I know it will be good. Whether a lot of other people buy it, who knows - I don't care for some of those generic FPS games that become blockbusters. Niche games are better if you like variety, but less popular.
I didn't even know there was a character story to pay attention to. When I played this game, I just remember the back of a dude's spacesuit, as you try to survive & find your way out. And it was a great game - without any stories made up after the fact.
Funny that the people who are supporting a company by purchasing stocks are pitted against those who support a company by buying their products.
Go ahead and try to charge more for online - see what that will do for shareholders when gamers then switch to another game they don't have to pay extra to play online.
I wouldn't have thought to care about such things...but ok, I admit I am impressed. It is pretty interesting actually.
I see the Forza3 vs. GT5 comparison of the day is posted right on schedule. You all aren't tired of this debate yet?
Haha, have fun hacking those obsolete games.
OMG, WTF? This looks hilarious, and fun.
Nice - and something to think about for devs. Accessibility to people with disabilities is a something they should be considering when they make games. Throw some options in those games that give others a chance to play.
I will comment without reading. Just to say that talking about this 2009 game has jumped the shark a while ago.
