Honest question, not flame baiting... I am not a Xbox player.
I see they keep making sequels to this game. Do you Xbox players have a limit for these sequels, or will keep buying them indefinately? Do they offer enough new stuff on each one to feel like you are not re-buying the same game over & over again?
Just curious to hear it from your perspective.

Video game people are such teasers. Too bad they only actually ever come out with a fraction of the stuff they tease people with, and it takes them years. ;-)
I think some of you need to go out and get Faces of Death for a fix for your gore obsessions. Why mess around with games when you can see real decapitations? The scary thing is I think some gamers would be more aroused by that then seeing boobs.
It seems the author doesn't know a boss fight from average ordinary action. Did you see the video of the supposed "boss fight" from Fallout 3? The player is standing basically in one spot shooting at the mutant...who does not attack, then dies. Wow, that looked really hard. :-)
fanboyism will continue indefinately. The video game hobby obviously is something a lot of kids are into. Kids are immature. It is just normal immaturity coming out in these fanboy posts - from both sides of the fence. Kds will be kids. I just laugh at 'em.
I think on such a bigtime product as a next gen system, all ideas are considered. I am sure one of the early product design proposals was a cheaper box with current tech to get it on the market sooner & create more immediate sales. But it probably wouldn't have Blu Ray & cell processer that Sony felt would carry the product for a much longer lifecycle. Who is more ignorant? Those that put in some actual scientific study time of these social technologies, or those that lash out & say they don't know what they are talking about, purely because they feel butthurt by the conclusions. Hmmmm.
I was shocked that he was in the game in the first place. This man hated & mocked everything celebrity, and would probably kill himself all over again if he could after seeing himself as a cartoon in a kids game.

Maybe they should reprint this article in several years when it will actually be relevent. The PS3 is going to be around for quite some time still before even a hint of PS4 is uttered by Sony.
I don't get the whiny mentality on game websites & blogs. The PS3 is expensive to make with backwards compatability, and everyone was whining about cost. So cost is down now, and we all have known for years now that BC is dead on the PS3.
So no one is making anyone go out & buy new ports of PS2 games for the PS3. Don't buy it if it doesn't interest you. Offering a product someone is not interested in purchasing is hardly what I call screwing over fans.
I think I am twisted & perverted enough to like that idea. Gotta drop the Soul Caliber & Tekken girls in that issue as well.

I think they threw Obama in there for some sensationalism to add juice to the article. Anyone but a total numbnutz gets that he is not hating on video games, but rather saying don't be a lazy, fatass slob, playing them all day instead of doing something real with your life.
None of these are real threats to any industry that makes tons of money, and hugely popular in our society. I have been a musician all my life, and have heard the same attempts (even tougher challenges like the PMRC) try to shut down freedom in music. They all fail. Everytime. And the reason is more people like games, or music, or movies, or whatever it is the extremists are attacking than like the extremists. Most rational people say STFU when these clowns come out of the woodwork seeking me...
So true...us open minded video game fans hate fanboys, but the console makers love their fanboys for all the constant product campaigning.
boobs > gore anytime if you ask me. Gore these days in some games has been taken to much more perverted levels than girls with big boobs has been, by a long shot.
It's funny with these articles from game sites, because they always appear to start off as nonbiased, interesting reporting, and then add some personal thoughts at the end that reveals the author's bias. At that point I always feel cheated of a few minutes of my time to read it, thinking it at first it was real attempt at journalism, and something worth my time to read.
It's a good thing only the gaming world is twisted this way. Imagine if every product we bought was surround...
They should have a trophy for making it through without falling asleep once. Or maybe a trophy for sitting through all the hella confusing 45 minute long cinematics between levels without trying to skip them. ;-)
Haha, the MGS fans are going to come unravalled...but I thought this was one of the most boring games I ever bought. Was glad when I sold it back to Gamestop for a few bucks.
