Microsoft has turned off some developers from the platform by turning their backs on the Xbox console.
For the past 2 years, Microsoft has been focusing on gamepass. In the generation prior Sony got a lot of credit for showcasing games in their press conferences while Xbox was talking about other things in their conferences 80% of the time.
They have shifted to showing a bunch of games in their Xbox directs, however, those games are featured on the Xbox g...
Enlighten me of what is misleading? The PS5 Pro will improve the titles with uncapped framerates and resolutions. It will do this as a given because of the extra power available similar to how the base PS5 boost performance of PS4 games that target 60 fps but don't actually reach 60 fps.
You and many others here will not understand the point I am trying to make because you only know of playstation. Multi console owners will get it because they have seen what boost mode ...
I am not sure you understand what game boost is. The best implementation of the feature was on the Xbox series consoles where some games that ran at 30 fps could be played at 60 fps and some games that were 60 fps could be played at 120 fps.
An example of where this was implemented for comparison sake was both Battlefield 5 and Mirror's Edge Catalyst ran at 120 fps on Xbox series while those games remained at 60 fps on PS5. Microsoft has worked with those developers to...
This is what I said.
"The base PS5 can already boost those same PS4 titles that have an unlocked framerate and resolution."
Idk what you read, but I was very specific about PS4 games, not every game. The whole point of my comment was that Sony is advertising this as a feature when it is simply the console leveraging its extra power to improve performance on games with unlocked framerates rather than it being a feature the console was specificall...
If they can make those games look like the new monster hunter games while remaining high quality, then it will have my support.
The base PS5 can already boost those same PS4 titles that have an unlocked framerate and resolution. This is a misleading feature since they are not doing anything other than having the extra power of the PS5 Pro take advantage of those situations.
Unless they make it so devs don't have to update their game to support unlocked framerates and resolution, this should be ignored and treated simply as a marketing term.
My sentiments towards Nintendo is now at an all time low. I was considering purchasing a switch 2 at launch but I will now pass. Why is this you ask?
Nintendo is using their position to ruin the gaming industry because of their greed.
They have patented gaming mechanics and are now taking companies to court. The idea of someone improving on an older idea and implementing it in their game is now at risk.
Nintendo has shut down not only t...
The only game that comes close is FFXVI. The scale of those battles is insane.
Those graphics are insane. I had to do a double take.
If there is a sale with $600 off I will consider it.
I'm just disappointed that Sony is so afraid of cannibalizing the sales of the PS5 consoles, they don't add game streaming from PSN to the handheld.
I have a feeling Bluepoint is working on Bloodborne.
I still haven't completed Ghost of Tsushima. I made the horrible mistake of doing every side mission, chasing every fox and secret along the way. This caused burnout and I moved on to another game.
The last thing I remember doing is hunting down some legendary armor set.
I didn't know this game has haters.
I am not sure why Darthv72 got a dislike because the regular PS5 Pro is still available. I just checked myself and it is still available. There wasn't even any queue.
I would get one myself but I need more assurances that it won't be just a handful of games utilizing the PS5 Pro's power.
I am convinced the devs made the game, tested the features but didn't actually play the game.
I don't get the point of your comment.
They should stop putting out these exaggerated headlines about the PS5 Pro. Unless these benefits are applied to most PS4/PS5 games, then it should be kept on the down low given we only know of a small handful of titles that will use these features.
Couldn't they do an update and replace those spheres with crystals?
They should increase the playtime to 500 hours and have a certain trophy score which is not disclosed. That way we can all rest easy knowing that the next time they launch a console, true PlayStation fans will be able to get one at launch and not be at the mercy of people trying to flip for a quick buck.
