@hombreacabado can't go worrying about things like that dude, who cares about likes/ dislikes 🤣
PlayStation Plus versions don't get the upgrades for free. Sorry fella
The only reason I find the decision to skip it in favour of RE4 is that, at least development wise, CV was always thought of as the 'true' RE3 - I'm not knocking Nemesis at all though, it was always my favourite of the original classics. Hopefully we get a Code Veronica remake shortly after 4 is released, like how 3 was pushed through quickly using 2's assets.
Yeah January 2005, just shy of my 15th birthday. I remember only having a B-Line card as ID, not being 15 yet and praying the chaps at GAME saw I was just a fan desperate to play the next installment. Getting that game home and popping it in the GameCube seems not that long ago. Now I'm a dad with bills to pay... I don't know what happened to the time!
For a game that'll be 18 years old by the time the new game releases, it holds up amazingly well. Looking forward to REmake4, 2 and 3 were a lot of fun.
I had no idea about this, it never occurred to me to try it so thanks! 😎 Often bored in the evening when the missus takes over the living room, good excuse to play some modern classics and get the old DualShock 4 out.
Another gold star for Konami.
I appreciated what Lorne wanted to achieve from the game but, as one of many old school Oddworld fans, I had the idea hammered home over many years that this was meant to be the 'true' sequel to Oddysee whilst in actuality Exoddus will forever be the real sequel, whether it was planned that way or not. There was just too much missing from the incredible world and lore when compared to the previous 2D Abe games.
Plus, it felt like it dragged on and on, and the ending...
Not sure if it was luck or a culmination of previous games leading to Dark Souls, but when every Miyazaki game since has been a bit I don't think it matters at this point. We seem to have so many fantastic games - AAA and Indie - across every platform that I feel grateful that the biggest problem I have is "what game am I supposed to play next?"
Praise the journey.
10/10 used to mean as close to perfect as possible. Now I feel it's used a bit too often. Up until the early 2000s there were only a handful of these 10/10 games. Admittedly there were probably fewer reviewers out there, and the internet wasn't as accessible as a means of finding out these reviews (anyone else miss PlayStation Max Magazine!?) but I think the hype modern games get clearly sway some reviewers opinions.
I feel you man. I'm currently juggling my next gen Cyberpunk run through, Sekiro run through, Demon's Souls, Legends Arceus and Dying Light 2. None of short games either, hope I can just sink into Elden Ring and enjoy it. Too many games to choose from actually feels overwhelming...First world problems I know 😁
Reviews are all over the place for this one.
Still waiting for the undoubtedly average REverse, could just be that
The logic in me knows that's the best way to go £ wise, but the OCD in me wants a PS5 game sat on my shelf...
Sam's her Sully. Nice upgrades too. £10 is a good deal if you don't have one of the games.
RIP friend.
One of the rare times when the comics couldn't actually match up to the quality of the game in my opinion.
Absolutely! I love the fact time is a human concept.
All down voters can 🖕 off, that game is a masterpiece.
