Not gonna happen. They hyped the Wii U, they called the Xbox 720 a 'hot and compelling device' and they say the PS4 is in high demand. Of course they do this, because they have to sell those consoles. It is their business.

Well, the exact same thing happens with every multiplayer experience on every console. When the connection is lost, you won't keep on playing.

right now, Sony is the only manufacturer actively fighting the 2nd hand market with their online passes for first party games... They do this for a reason.

Sonys Asian studios managed to release 1 full game for the PS3 for the entire generation. The other titles were HD remakes or... the last guardian.

Well the gaming division lost almost 5 billion back in 2011 and that only covers the losses after the PS3 launched. So R&D is not even included.

End result was a 5 billion USD loss - just with the PS3.
No cell, but a powerful and more common CPU would have saved millions of USD R&D and production costs.

The presentation was okay, but nothing special.
Specs are fine, but the games were boring.
Killzone and inFamous are boring and already massively slowing down saleswise. Knack looked decent, Drive Club will struggle next to Forza 5 and GT6.
PSN games not working on PS4 and no backward capability were 2 HUGE letdowns.

At the end of the day those 60 days between the announcements of the consoles won't make a difference.
So what about Black Tusk Studios, MS Victoria, MS Redmond or Lift London then?
These are studios they built up recently, just like they did with Turn10, Good Science Studios and 343 industries.
They bought PressPlay, Bungie (sold it), TwistedPixel, Rare, Lionhead and BigPark.
When you go through Sonys first party studios, they do the exact same thing. Hire and acquire is not a bad strategy btw.
