Instead people are just "forgetting" sequels to such successful games when they talk about Xbox 360s holiday lineup.

So Sony paid them to treat most of their customers in a bad way. In this case Bethesda treats the minority of their customers in a bad way.

Kinect is just fine.
I love Kinect games and I love my core games. You don't have to decide which way you will go. I play Kinect Sports with my friends on Friday and chainsaw Teenagers online on Saturday
Actually I love good stories. That is what makes Halo so unique.
But chatting with my mates while racing in Forza and he is discovering Skyrim is just cool. Especially with Skype integration coming soon. Talking to friends on their Xbox while they are playing Battlefield 3 and I am playing WC3 is awesome.

Core gamers are overrated. And I am a core gamer.
Funny that PS3 users are more concerned about the price and quality of live than actual users.
I am on my 8th year and so far it was worth every penny. I think the number will increase this holiday season with Modern Warfare 3, Halo, Battlefield 3, Gears of War 3 and Forza 4 all having a strong focus on online gaming.
The new Xbox dashboard with YouTube, Bing and live TV won't hurt either.
So 18 million paying subscribers equals 900 mill...

When you read the comments on N4G, you might think MS is in trouble. Actually they are doing well. Kinect is doing well, the Xbox division posted a 1 billion USD profit, and the lineup for the holiday season looks great.
Think about it. The current profit made by the Xbox 360 division is more than the playstation division ever made in its history.
Gotta love journalism like this example. A console sells more after a pricecut. That must be a first in history. But you need more to make a bad article, so the author goes the extramile by doing his research on one online retailer. To make the article even more stupid, he brings a competitor into play with a very misleading assumption. All this based on one day of sales.
