I played on Steam, Battle.net, Xbox Live and PSN.
Xbox Live is by far the best experience. The way achievements, friendslist, avatars, different apps etc are integrated is simply head and shoulders above everything the competition offers.
With Live TV, Youtube, bing and Skype coming to Xbox 360, I do not see this changing anytime soon.
I am a XBL Gold member for 8 years now and to be honest I don't even care about certain deals for my yearly sup...
2012 might be another awesome year for Xbox 360 then.

Before this gen started, nobody would have thought that MS will sell that much consoles. The original Xbox stopped selling at 24 million so MS will probably triple that.
Besides the market share they reported great profits since 2008 and were one of the bright spots in the last 4 quarterly reports.
Overall the Xbox 360 is a profitable business. It basically pushed the EDD to write black numbers on its own. With failures like Kin, Zune HD and Windows Mobile 6 ...

Overall MS is highly profitable.
MS really is a pain in the *beep* for Sony.
They lost sooo much money with the PS3 when it used to be a moneymaker last gen.
They made the decision market share over profit some time ago.

If u r a developer, who wants to develop a game around an intellectual property of a console manufacture,u just know that this game will be an exclusive.
Every company would have done the exact same thing.
Uncharted won't be as big as the ones u mentioned. No exclusive game will. And if there will be an exclusive game it will be Gears of War 3. On consoles that is. The 3DS games will be big as well.
MW3, BF3 and Skyrim will be the really big ones this year.

Look at it this way: There is no chance the game would even run on a six years old PC for $400.
We should do a fair comparison: Build a PC for the price of a console when it launches and see which has more games to play in the future. I bet you have to spend money in the PC much earlier than on a console.
If there is one franchise that needs a big cinema movie - it is Halo.
I can't believe we have seen Far Cry, Doom, Prince of Persia, Hitman etc. movies, but no Halo yet. There are 6 books around the Halo games, so there is enough story line to use.
Heck, MS made 1.36 billion USD with the EDD division, mainly driven by the Xbox 360. A 100 million USD movie does not hurt the overall profit. I have no clue, why they don't do it.
