It's coming to pc? If so, I hope it's a better port than the last trashy version. ugh. It was horrid on pc. Good on xbox though...of course I only tried the demo.
600 is worse...
but the most I'm really willing to spend is about 200 bucks, just so I don't have to upgrade for a LONG time. Usually does a few years.
I did just buy a 5850 for 300, but it came With Dirt2, and a Power supply, I sold both for 80 bucks, and my old card for 200, so I came out only spending about 30 bucks after shipping.
I don't have money to burn or anything...
But I'm sure I would find some stuff to pawn if a new rig popped up.
You would be surprised how far computer technology has come in the last couple years. I'm sure if you saw what a new console could do with modern technology you would change your mind. ; )

That's pretty intense. I don't know of any viable processors coming out with 8 cores...but I'll take it.
Only one core. The spu's don't act the same way.
But I kind of liked it...after a lot of tweaking and mapping of the controls.
It was a little generic, but they didn't really show anything unique that they showed in the previews...
It's coming to 360? I didn't know that. I thought it was exclusive. Any word on pc?
I personally loved Gears of War.
So I'll at least give this one a shot. The movement looks pretty fluid if nothing else.
Sure it's borrowed heavily from Gears in almost every aspect, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing in my eyes at least.

And how you could catch a guy off guard and he'd struggle to load his clip before you shot his helmet off and killed him. ah...
The body specific animations where awesome too.
Why not buy the sequal on pc?
I think they could have added more to the backgrounds. They could have probably shaved 1/3 of the poly count off the cars without noticeable effect and put them in the track. But you do look at the car a lot more than the environment.

I hate the controller for games like this.
You know they're going to have you flinging around like an idiot shooting the ball.
It's good in games like Metroid,and Silent Hill, with the pointing aspect. But the motion controls are wack. They're laggy, and imprecise.
I highly doubt they are going to give you the option to play it like Mario Bros, sideways with no nunchuck...but I could be wrong.
I was all excited until I saw this was only coming to the Wii...
Now I won't touch it.
And I OWN a wii...that's the bad part.
