It's going to be an amazing year. I'm still trying to catch up on games from last year...

I wish they would have added ambient occlusion. I love that effect as it adds dept to the environment.

For not being a fanboy.

On 360, they are 3rd person shooters. The same game on pc is 1st Person...
Odd I know.
I wish the pc version would allow 3rd person. Maybe this one will.

I like having my physical disk, but I never buy in store. Pc games are always on sale online somewhere, but never in store.
I usually buy from www.gogamer.com
They are hard to beat sometimes. I pre-ordered Splinter Cell Conviction for $37.00.

The speed of the Blu Ray drive will only affect load times and streaming(blu ray movies).
The resolution and frame rate is totally up to the graphics card when it comes to rendering 3D.
Note storage size or speed.

I've never believed an in store associate trying to push expensive cables, for obvious reasons.
But how could a cheap cable cause this?
The only thing I could imagine is maybe the prongs on the end getting crossed when you push them in. But that seems unlikely.

I loved Crysis. Can't wait for a new one. I just hope the new engines runs well.
The old was horribly optimized. If you can even use the word optimized.

Is a believer.
Kudos.

It's the port that's damaged...not the cable.
But I'm surprised this is even possible. I thought the current in an hdmi cable was tiny tiny.
Maybe it was a crossed circuit on the board causing a current problem?

My friends got tired of playing split screen with me...
I still remember all the codes and moves.
up down left right right left down up.
with your preference of bumpers being held down. : )

Twisted Metal 2 is my favorite game of all time. Loved it!
If they're messing with us by getting us all excited I'll hate them forever.

Am very exited about Crysis 2.
I loved the first one.

Consoles are always about 4 years behind the high end computers(not a bad thing).
So just use the 4 year rule. If the console hit's in 2013, then we should see something around the power of an HD 4890 in there, with about 2 gigs of ram. So we should see 1080p/60fps easily with some sick graphics. It will be great.
Now I think the exception will be USB3 will be in there, and probably blu ray or some alternative from MS.
I'm sure wireless internet will be standard options. ...

Am very very excited about this game. I love how the people are coming at you all crazy with everything they can find! The graphics looked amazing to me as well.

As an electrical engineer, it's obvious that this one is BS.
I have a PS3, great little unit.
But my "high end graphics cards" destroys the ps3 without even clocking up.
I know you PS3 fans want to believe this hype train that they feed you but it's utter lies. Please don't believe it. Do some research.
Let's do a simple comparison, on a game that runs GREAT on PS3.
Far cry 2. On PS3 it runs 720p, with little or no AA at a fairly consistent 30fps.
