It's a shame no DX11 on the demo, but that just means we get more of a treat when the actual game is realease. : )
Rock on. Laser me! I'm pretty sure there will be a tinted cover over that for the final version, hence the reason they would need a more powerful laser.
As long as my Pc is running games it'll never be dead in my house : )
Forcing AA in ATI CCC doesn't work. Not sure about Nvidia...
but no luck on ME2 with AA so far unless they patch it in.
Is most of the people saying Uncharted 2 is better, are playstation 3 owners who have never even PLAYED Mass Effect 2.
Now I don't know which is better, as I haven't finished Mass Effect 2. But I know that Uncharted 2 was freakin awesome.
I'm anxious to see how ME2 comes out when I finish. I just started it.
The article has nothing to do with higher than 1080p visuals. It's about a theoretical "beyond experience" that has nothing to do with HD gaming.
This tells me the next Wii will still be behind in tech. Heck, if I could sale game cubes for a 400% markup I would too.
I have a feeling the next Wii will be 720p, while the rest are finally kicking 1080p. But the thing is, they'll have motion controls too this time. Nintendo is looking for a new gimmick. Not tech.
I would go with ASUS if size isn't a factor. Very powerful, but they will give you much more bang for your buck than Alienware(AKA Dell) and especially the Apple products. They can be big and a bit heavier than the others though. Full size keyboard too.
If size and weight are a factor, I would honestly say this Alienware is a good deal, even though I'm not a big fan of their gear. They did good this time. It's actually pretty impressive.
But I would say no to Apple...too many sch...
Why have a high end pc if you're not going to game on it?
Editing? Or just for boast.
But other than that I'm hopeful. I loved Warrior Within. It was fantastic. I want gameplay.
Funy you say that. It was a Sony...
Theoretical speeds are all nice but actual performance is another altogether. Current high speed DVD drivers can't be beat for speed.
I tried two different brands, both Liteon and Sony.
You had me there. I thought you where serious. Good game. : )
And to jack, have you ever tried to run a game from a blu ray driver? Slow as dirt. I removed mine from my pc (Sony 8x mind you, faster than the PS3 drive) because it took so freakin long to run anything from it. I installed spore from one once, took over a half hour...Blu ray is a nice concept, but still way too slow.
I don't think the numbers are as few as you would believe. It actually doesn't take much of a computer to run it. Athlon 64x2 with a HD 4650 could run this easy...and that's all old tech. Not at max settings mind you, but it would run just fine.
But anyway...great game. I'm really loving it. Good ol American garbage.
And it looks amazing already. I don't know about running it in downsampled mode, due to fps drops. But I wish it had some AA built in the game.
Yeah games are fun. That should be first. But why not enjoy the visuals too?
My prediction, slightly better physics in the PS3, and better textures on the 360 basing off of their strengths. But it's hard to say with the PS3, as the spus are programmable. That kind of leaves it up to the developers. But physics seem the most likely.
Nice! I bet that will be nice. I can't wait for this game.
If they can achieve visuals like they are showing for consoles, I will be very impressed. I can't wait to see the PC version. Drool fest.
If people want to pay that, more power to them.
But this is why I still have my original 20gb. It's enough to get me by.
For less than that.
I'm anxious to see their new stuff. It's a shame I don't expect anything else to fit my AM2+ socket though...
It's the first thing I play. I love a good story, the massive environments, exploring, boss battles, etc.
While multiplayer is nice to have, as it extends the replay value of a game to great extent I just love my single player. I too wish more games included it. I guess maybe the download sizes are getting too big for SP.
