I just hope the Pc version is 3rd person this time around. All the older versions on pc are first person, when the consoles are 3rd person. Messed up...but what can you do? Maybe give us the option.
Just ordered my copy. They better ship it. It says it's via Gamestop. Pretty sweet. I checked and it's listed as a game, not a book. The collectors edition is only 49$ for pc, which is also a pretty good deal.
To go back and try this for PC. Never knew it came out on pc. gamershell.com has the demo download if anyone is interested.
Good theory. It would certainly work. A minor revision always seems to catch the attention of fans. New look, added a couple features, bigger HDD, etc. I wouldn't expect them to pump up the visuals though.
There are rumors of a MS phone based off the Zune design as well. I expect that announcement sooner than E3 though.
I can still win without them. It's so unrealistic though. Who could hold two shotguns and actually fire them both and manage to hit something?
They get rid of dual shotguns? That crap is wack.
Nope.
Depends. In video, 720p and 1080p don't show much of a difference, however in gaming the difference is very noticeable. At least on my set.
I'm glad if they're compressing the video they are using bink. Great quality.
I wish they would just span it more disks though, and do compressed 1080p. I don't mind the disks. But this should be plenty anyway.
Any of them looked that great.
But the PC demo is only DX9...I wonder if DX11 helps? I look forward to seeing that. The environments look pretty bland to me. The models look good however.
Steam is currently down. I don't know if that is just for playing online, or if it includes downloads. Was supposed to be back up by now.
Not that Mag is a bad game. I like it quite a bit actually. But what it the point of have nearly 300 players at once, if you only see 5 of them at a time?
Mag lite isn't even close to the concept here. Can you drive tanks and level buildings in Mag? Nope. They are both great games, but for different reasons. Enjoy them for what they are, or leave everyone else who enjoys it alone. Geeze.
They're trying to make some money. 350,000 sales, well that's not too great. Maybe for a Wii game. But image what they can scratch together hitting every major platform on the market.
You have to make a profit.
Do you do the disks?
I never really cared for the texture work in the games. The only thing that I didn't like. But these look fantastic. The in game lighting suits them well.
But it makes for a good media center or business card.
I have the 5850...so I'm not looking to purchase. I do however have some friends who could use this.
For 50 bucks.
Anyone know what settings the games where ran at? If that is max settings, no AA of course, than that's pretty impressive. If it's min, then that's acceptable for the price range.
Am I the only one who couldn't figure out how to sprint?
Anywho, if felt a little slow to me. And lack of down the sights aiming for the marines put me off...
There doesn't seem to be a way to use the predators firing attacks either.
A different web browser, or by downloading directly via the steam program, see if that works.
Someone hopes they wreck the game, judging from the disagree.
