They are the models from Gears 1.
The dropped detail in gears 2 as they added more players in mulitplayer. It's the trade off you have to make. Well worth it.
Will buy anything, and everything apple. It's ignorance, but ignorance is bliss they say.
It's probably still slower than modern dual or quad core processors at around 3.0ghz.
I had forgotten about Rage. Looks good.
I've been waiting for some hi res pc shots. Looks fantastic!
Have you heard the sound on this game? Wow. Even better than the visuals.
The textures look pretty low for a pc game. Maybe they're not at maximum settings for a "fair" comparison?
It doesn't matter anyway. The higher res and frame rate , plus AA on the pc will take the lead anyway. I ordered this one this morning. Looks good.
But I thought this was hilarious! Very exciting though. Seems fun.
Bubbles for bacon.
If you play with the 360 controller on pc you'll see those pop up too...but I agree, looks like the 360 version. Can't wait to see the pc. Drool.
Why post 1080p images of a game that will not run in 1080p?
Just seems odd.
I mean 1080p isn't a big deal, 720p is fine for this gen, but why bother?
Just wanted to add, it does look pretty good though.
You're just wrong.
Disk storage has nothing to do with video game resolutions. Only how much it can store.
You're mixing video up with 3d graphics.
Higher resolution VIDEO takes up more space, simply because video is comprised of high resolution images, that play in rapid succession.
However graphics are rendered on the fly. The only determining factor of resolution in gaming is how fast the video card / cpu and fill the screen. The faster the card, the more pixels pe...
Although I would like to see less combat. More evasion and just general exploration. I felt like there was too much run away scenes. But if the game had been longer I don't think I would have felt that way.
I would also like to see the environment become more interactive too. like lowering and making bridges, creating new paths and things.
I repair computers for a living...
but I come home and hop right on mine quite contently.
I guess it just depends on how you look at it.
Truthfully speaking a console is just another computer. It's just it doesn't have an os.
I know what you're talking about though. It's nice to mix it up.
Not all 120hz tv's lag. My LG led doesn't lag...but the Samsung I returned to get the LG did. Also sharps have no noticeable lag. I still leave my 120hz off. Artifacts = eww. I often game on my Tv as others stated above.
Mouse and Keyboard > Gamepad isn't a relevant argument on pc. Why? Because PC gamers actually have the choice of both. Choice > gamepad = relevant argument. Sometimes I mouse and keyboard, sometimes I use the wireless controller from my 360.
When it comes...
DX11 on pc?
That would make sense. ATI video drivers are rolling out within a day or two with 3D support...so that would line up really well.
I hope it comes out and surpasses your expectations. For all of us. Time will tell, however there will always be something new roll around that will be better.
Why would you not touch another pc game if a single developer let's you down with a single title? That doesn't make much sense...
But anywho. Yeah I'm totally stoked about the game. Played the PS3 beta and the controls where the suck...but PC cures that. I hope I get into the pc beta as well.
They're all there. They brought back the entire cast from the first game.
What a fanboy rant...
The future is blu... ha ha. You work for the guys or something?
But anyway...game looks fun to me.
