People have this idea in their head that video games are bad for you ever since pong. Video games have the same interactivity as sports except your interaction is through a controller instead of physically doing it. This is what it means to change the culture. Science and actual facts to change peoples minds.

He used the pound symbol so I assume this means the United Kingdom.

Considering that Sony probably also considers it to compete with PlayStation Plus and the Streaming service they plan to implement. Why would they want to compete when they don't have to in this case?

With the exoskeleton it is no longer a matter of a male being stronger than a female. They could and should have a female lead. Just watching the repetitious crap as it was developed and published made me sick of the game and I didn't even play it. They need to do more than what other companies have done before it because right now to me it feels like a Crysis ripoff.

I liked the Forza Horizon better than what I see in this game. The Crew has that boring or just another racer feeling.

This is probably far more exciting using the headgear. Trying to demonstrate the double view to indicate you're using the V.R. seems kind of lame. The graphics seem average for a 360 or PS3 game or currently a low end PC with low end graphics card.

Sony should probably start worrying if Microsoft manages to close the gap if they manage to catch up within a year or so. However, it will probably take longer and both companies will not be sitting idle unless they are stupid.

No. And once they start selling in a similar number of countries as the PS4 they can start making inroads on the sales numbers. PS4 is sold in what 48+ countries and the XB1 is sold in what 25+ countries?

More console sales for the XB1 means more people buying video games. While they are in second place it doesn't mean very much as long as the multiplatform games are made for both consoles. The differences in sales numbers will not be made up in a few months, but forward growth and momentum which the post shows the XB1 currently has is a step in the right direction.

Watch Dogs is crap for a lot more reasons than just how it runs. The characters are one-dimensional, the story is flat, and the game play even when it works right is not that fun.

The view from the cars are different. In DriveClub it is raining and in Forza Horizon 2 it is not raining, but showing a wet street after it has rained. The videos were taken at different resolutions, but we both know they support at least 1080p/30fps. Since we know the minimum output resolution and frame rate of the game and the videos are clearly not shown at that resolution how can anyone actually make an objective judgement based on that fact alone? Let us be honest - you can't.

A game this large would DLC and exclusive content even be noticed? If the game can only support people for a few months before all the content is use that doesn't sound good for something that is supposed to last 10 years.

It probably includes DLC or something else to justify the price. The BF4 game can be bought from Microsoft for $19.99 and the PS Store for $24.99. That was using a simple Google search.

As to the PS4 slim - I have seen tear downs of the PS4. There isn't a lot of room to make things smaller and unless they get rid of things like the Blu-Ray drive there isn't a lot they can do. I realize chip manufacturing is always becoming more efficient with smaller chips, but the chips are already as small as the factories can make them and it will take those factories years probably to be able to make the chips even smaller, which will be necessary for an even smaller PS4.

AAA titles typically have more complexity and fewer bugs. There are exceptions, but I have never been able to get very many hours out of an Indie title. This means more value for my $60 (USD) per AAA game and that is why I have a preference for them.

I would be willing to pay for DLC, but I will NEVER pay for a subscription to play a video game on any long term basis and this game is looking at a very long term. I might do a short term subscription like say $15 for 3 months. It would have to also be 3 months worth of time not based on a calendar. In other words it would be 2,160 hours (24hrs * 90 days) of useable time when I wanted to use it. Destiny has a shot though since the only games I have ever done the short term subscriptions ...

I would say other than graphics the games play exactly the same on PC or 360 when you use a 360 controller with your PC. Otherwise the differences are graphics and controls. I got the same feeling playing the game on my PC that I did on the 360.

Call of Duty has become 1 of the most tiresome franchises ever produced. They tried to serialize the FPS genre. Unfortunately, paying $60 (USD) means if the product is only so so then it will ultimately fail. I have hopes for Advanced Warfare, but it needs to be truly different in that it has a real story, real campaign, non-recycled graphics. About the only thing that can remain the same is the game play, which is essentially perfected at this point.

Actually what Microsoft listened to was all those "cha-chings" at the cash register and people wanting to buy a PS4 because Microsoft policies limited what they could do and how they could do it when the nearest and dearest competitor said "no restrictions". They were losing money so fast they were looking at a total fail before they really had a chance to get going. On top of that you had a box that was $100 more expensive with a intrusive camera that didn't work ri...
