I believe all versions of the game have a day 1 patch of about 500mb that is supposed to fix most or all of these problems. Of course Bethesda isn't saying.
The words to describe the game seem to not go with the review score given. The reviewer only seemed to enjoy or accept the setting with everything else being crap. Sounds like a 2/10 not 5/10. Also I don't really have a problem with the parkour aspects of it. It's not perfect in any of the AC games, but very few companies do it better.
Um, if you love seeing Destiny haters that have commented how do you correlate that statement with true Guardians don't want you here? And yes, Destiny sucks if you compare to anything other than an FPS.
This pretty much means I will not be buying the game. I might play the game with 1 other person, but most likely will not and therefore see no point in purchasing the game.
Now when you look at the games you want to play I suspect it is far more even in terms of exclusives even if the PS4 has more.
Looks like Battlefield 4 with a Star Wars skin.
The main difference between an XB1 always online DRM scheme and the Crackdown 3 using the cloud scheme is choice. Being an XB1 owner I can choose to buy or not buy Crackdown 3. Being a XB1 owner my only choice to avoid the always online DRM is to buy a PS4, which really isn't a choice if you don't like the controller or other aspects of the console design.
The drive on a price per storage amount it is not worth it. If you want an external drive and it doesn't have to be portable you can go up to 3.5inch, desktop sized hard drive with external enclosure and 4tb for $100-$120. That is hard drive, enclosure, and power supply.
I pretty much stopped reading when they were serious about you only being able to die once. Why would I play a game where I would have to continuously start over? Even Dark Souls, which is a game I love to hate due to difficulty throws you more of a bone than that.
What is even cooler is that Google translates on the fly and I can read all the Spanish comments in English. So while yes it is a good thing the X-Box One is doing twice as well in Spain after E3 I think the fact that I can read it is even cooler. :)
Are you actually using real money? That was never specified. Only that you could earn REQ points and then spend those points. Doesn't really sound like Microtransactions to me.
Who cares? It is car big deal.
And we care what this guy thinks about the trailer why?
How is this in any way apology crap? They have nothing to apologize for with a game being release on time and free DLC is free DLC. You're under no obligation to actually download it.
When everyone cites the parity clause crap that Microsoft has why do we never hear about the specifics of why that clause has prevented the game coming to the XB1? Where is the information on communication or lack thereof with Microsoft? It is always - "we did it because of the parity clause" and no other information is provided. Maybe instead of blaming Microsoft people could actually tell us exactly how the parity clause prevents you from communicating with Microsoft and obtain...
I liked Gears of War single player when it first came out. It was definitely something special with the exception of the stupid cover mechanic. I seriously hope they fix it since other games have shown how much better to it including GTA 4 and 5, which is surprising to me.
Considering the age of most of these games and/or other products this aren't very good deals in my opinion. Props to the website for gathering this information though.
The article is on N4G because people are reading it probably by the tens of thousands.
Actually it is a pretty good build and would probably play games at an acceptable frame rates for a few years.
Every spot they talked about in the video I have now been in and not once did it stutter or noticed a slowdown. Of course I'm running on an faster external hard drive and that may be what is saving my experience from what Digital Foundry is experiencing.
