At the bottom of the pictures there is an "SD" and "HD". There is also a SLIDER on the picture starting at the left edge of the picture. The "HD" picture has more definition around the collar and sharper pattern on the shirt and cleaver. If you never played the game it would be the one to obtain if you could. However, it certainly isn't worth more of your money even if you receive all the DLC.
Lying requires intent. If you can prove they intentionally lied then you can make a case against EA. Otherwise, it is simply false advertizing. What the PS4 has is momentum due to a variety of factors. Sony has done most of the right things a successful company can do to be the leader. Microsoft had disastrous launch policies and an overpriced box that people didn't appreciate. It also comes down to a more powerful machine and whom do you trust? For me this game IS CRAP. What is important in a game for me is these elements: story, RPG aspects, character distinctiveness, exploration, and variety. Destiny fails in every way in each of these areas. The only thing Destiny is good at is being a multiplayer FPS shooter. Admittedly that is very good, but it was marketed and sold as something different. Well, all other aspects of the game other than what Bungie is known for is crap.

The problem is making a console that is truly next gen, but can be affordable to millions of possible users. That is the 1 thing this dude isn't considering. One of the few games where I can actually tell without trying very hard that improves graphics from 1 generation to the next. Most games especially those that people get all hot and bothered about (fanboy/fangirl) the graphics are usually so subtle or indistinct that you really can't tell from images.
It probably also means the story is in the future not the past since the Salarians were not in contact with the humans until after the First Contact War with the Turians. The Mass Effect trilogy happens around 20 years after those events I think.

Something like this is a matter of perspective. Even taking away 1/3 of users who switched from Microsoft to Sony who still might have subscriptions on Live because they haven't run yet there are far more users on Live than PS+. Those numbers are fact. Although personally I am glad Sony is finally giving Microsoft competition because the whole free games thing was hinted at from the beginning but until Sony started doing it Microsoft felt no pressure to innovate in this direction.
First, what he said was it was locked to go no higher than 60 FPS not 30. You still have to manually edit the file that controls the settings to do so if you want to go up to 60. Second, this was probably done for stability of older systems that can't quite keep up with the game. The vast majority of even PC gamers can't afford rigs that can every graphical effect at maximum resolution.

This is 1 of those everybody does it kind of thing so it isn't really news at all. If the games are in development then it shouldn't be an issue. It isn't as if this will be the actual game they are selling you now is it?
The only thing Destiny has done right is the shooter mechanics. Everything else from the RPG elements to the MMO feel including the story so far... is crap. How long will I play it? I played the beta and that was it. Make the elements I care about deeper and I might come back, but I doubt it.
