Hunka what have you seen to make you think this?
Patent lawyers. It's their job to trademark as much as they think is possible.
Looks fantastic. Better than anything out on the market.
This looks like it was built using Minecraft engine.
Hella no. Last time I bought a game from games for windows live was borderlands. Shortly after that Microsoft announced that they were shutting down Games for windows live.
Now I can't even download a game I purchased with my money.
What kind of scam site is this? Links to source take you back to same page and no actual Ono quote.
Big whoop. Move along folks.
Uh you do know doom I and ii cameout in 1993-94 so just cause it came out on XBLA doesn't make it a last gem game.
Lot of angry comments reading through the comments on Spencer's Twitter page.. Most seem to be around playing purchased Downloaded games. Don't these games also work in offline mode? Am I missing something here?
Lol
I would argue that graphics, regardless of the degree of difference, plays a role in eventual console sales. Of course the games and services play a more significant role.i would venture to take it further and state that most technologists have a "keeping up with jones" mentality in that they want the better device even if it's .5" wider, % pixels more, 10lbs lighter, 20 horsepower more, etc.
Take it a step further - what does sales matter to gamers? It rea...
Billions of dollars? Wth are you talking about. They already have data centers. Most major corps have racks of blades to house private user data. What do you think houses all that uplay crap? It's all virtualized instances of servers in a rack.
All they would have to do is to create whatever custom API via web service WSDL or other middle ware tiers like TIBCO.
it is convenient for small dev shops if they go with hosted solution if thy don't have the infrastru...
All major corporations own data centers. It is an absolute must especially if you house private user data that has to be stored somewhere hence the term data center. If you have the infrastructure, developing the hooks to spin up instances of whatever virtualized tier is not that costly.
Virtualizing lets say a middleware platform that can handle requests/responses just require a WSDL to be created that will fetch data crunched on virtualized data severs.
As an IT person I can tell you Cloud gaming is another fancy word for distributed hosting data centers, which have existed for many many years.
Yes services like Azure or probably the most relevant cloud hosted solution in the industry - Amazon AWS, offer canned API or in some cases like AWS PAS (platform as a service) where you could spin up multiple application tiers all in the cloud makes development easier. However, most large companies like Ubisoft have their own data ...
Any bet takers on 60 single 30 multi?
I agree differences this gen are much bigger due major differences last gen at least both were same resolution and minor differences in fps.
Great can't wait for phones with expensive 8gb of GDDR5 ram like the ps4.
It's all about scaling expectations. I think launching a pro tour version at $30 bucks and offering an upgrade later on while selling a full retail at $60 might have been the best approach.
Regardless it's not a bad game by any means sitting at 82 on metacritic with more content to come. It's an investment essentially some won't mind making while others will not.
Yea first thing I thought as well. Seems like Sony has exclusive marketing deal on this game. Now coupled with Wild does this make the ps4 the home of "beast master" games?
I wager Microsoft will announce this at their event.
