One thing you forget is the tons of small bite sized Arcade games in the Marketplace that could be retro fitted for the Zune HD like the iPhone.
They are obviously building and extending their Marketplace into the handheld market. Why wouldn't they? The Marketplace is huge and has a ton of arcade games like Geometry wars.
It would be their slick way of entering the handheld market. Also, the comment about announcement at E3 about Zune HD is a dead giveaway.
the PS3 already has the best lineup out of all the systems, it just needs to be come more affordable.
Nowhere in the article does it accuse Msft of paying $50 mil, you need to stop making crap up and reporting it. You need to get reported for making stuff up instead.

Yea, I agree this generation Microsoft won't be able to buy squat with their money. Like N'Gai Croal and Kotaku owner said on GT, 3rd party companies are hesitant to make anything exclusive to one system forever.
But the question is does that timed exclusivity make a difference? Apparently the consensus is it does not.
GTA IV DLC did not move the game in the way Msft was hoping for and it did not for Fallout 3.
The comment Peter Hines made it seem like he is saying - "we only announced 3 dlc for the Xbox 360 and PC... but we never said anything about DLC coming to the PS3."

I think writer is commenting on how this feature is better than the media server setup he has. I have the media server setup on my Xbox 360 and I have the Netflix plugin and its 10x better than the Netflix feature built into the NXE.
For starters I can pull up three rows of movies at once in comparision to that sliding NXE view, also I can stream Hulu, fancast and other services and watch shows not available on Netflix watch instantly.
I think Xbox owners are holding the analog sticks incorrectly on the PS3 controllers, on the 360 gamepad you place your thumb into the indent so in effect you are dragging it a bit, on the PS3 controller you are always pushing it from an angle, so those who complain that their thumbs touch are trying to use the analog sticks like the 360's.
But the PS3 controller analogstick is a lot more responsive than the 360s, that is a fact.

I never thought about it but this guy is 100% correct, after playing Resistance 2 and then switching to Gears 2 once it came out I felt like the controls were not as responsive.
But, now I can't really tell any more after ive gotten used to the difference.
I didn't know about the dead zone thing, nice to know.

ohhh an 8/10 for Gears 2, and 9/10 for Resistance 2 from Wired.
Thats got to hurt considering Wired is a huge publication, im sure they weight more than small sites like Giant Bomb.
Its funny how ppl are comparing Gears 2 to R2, i guess it was inevitable due to the time frame these two games are coming out.
Not only do they play differently, the pacing, type, length etc.. are totally different.
Far Cry 2 sucks, there is no cohesive story.. its all missions spread out everywhere, there is nothing driving you to one mission over the other one.
